it is in ico stage at the moment and it has not hit any exchange yet . most probably etherdelta could be the exchange it hits first

Now it's the first stage of Modultrade so it's absolutely no exchange. However a good ICO project will soon be listed on major exchanges. Bittrex is perfectly possible but can not be sure of this from now on. Seems to be too early.

Actually, the return of the item isn't an independent transaction but a part of the product sale cycle. Hence, if the item is returned due to a particular reason: non-satisfactory condition or not in line with the contract specification, it's handled under the same smart-contract. And it's going to be treated by smart-contract as non-delivery. Finally, the smart-contract will end up as canceled without any crypto transfer to the seller.
Thus, the smart-contract helps to avoid any mess and secure the purchase for both parties (the seller and the buyer).
