In my opinion, Bitcoin will survive for long time, I can't predict exactly, but at least many coming years minimum. Nowadays we see the community grow up fastly as the Bitcoin's value and price increase highly as well, so I guess many new bitcoiners start dealing with Bitcoin, trading and holding it, and many big investors will start supporting it

Nothing lasts forever but as long as people will believe in bitcoins and patronize it,surely it will survive through times. We are in a modern world with modern people that are willing to adopt change and goes on with the technology. Unless bitcoins will have problems in terms of legal issues, maybe thats the time that it will be stopped by the government.
I think that for the government there is no such need to give up crypto-currency and prohibit yo-yo any more. If people start working with Bitcoin, and the other is good to earn, then in the implementation, each user will pay taxes. I think that for the state budget This is only a big plus.

I think maybe Bitcoin will still survive in next 50 or maybe 100 years Smiley). Why I think so? I think when the total supply amount of Bitcoin is still not mined out Bitcoin still alive and to mine all the amount of Bitcoin in all over the world is not a easy thing and it can be completed in next 10 or 20 years. Beside nowaday the number of country that legalized Bitcoin is increasing so I think Bitcoin will survive for a really really long time Cheesy

It is impossible to tell how long bitcoin will survive. But I think it can stay forever if all the countries government do not ban it.Its demand may fall down if other cryptocurrency gives us much more benefit than it.

It is hard to predict with certainty, but usually if something is going to fail it is during its early years. Since Bitcoin is approaching 10 years it is probably past that hurdle. I would think it will probably be around for the next 10-20 years easily, then it may risk being supplanted by some other coin or even technology. It probably won't go away completely, just become  not as relevant at some point.

BTC has been tested and survived a long time for a new technology. Each year it seems less likely it will fail. Each day, it seems more likely it will thrive. I've never seen so much positive news about bitcoin before. It's pretty hard to imagine the world would turn on it now. Should be around a long time.

If the price of bitcoin will drop very low to the point of people showing no more interest of investment, miners no more mining and no more advertisement for bitcoin. It means the internet is no more functioning.

I do not know for sure that bitcoin will survive, certainly bitcoin will last long enough because of security features, the popularity of bitcoin.

No one knows, or maybe it will not happen. The foundation of bitcoin today is strong. There are many people who supports bitcoin and uses bitcoin, bitcoin will only die by the time no one uses it.

The fact is that it can be fun not only to leave, but also to use on the first demand. The fact is that today there is no possibility to use Bitcoin as a means of payment, But nevertheless it is possible to exchange or sell for feat. Why wait for new water, if there is a chance that you will not take advantage of these opportunities, which will be decades later.

Have you guys ever think to how long is bitcoin will survive in this world ? Well, I mean is there anything that can make bitcoin bankrupt or low price, then possibly will make bitcoiners doesn't want to invest anymore. And also is there any solution to avoid those thing. Just wonder to know.
As long as there is internet, electricity bitcoin will last. As long as there is you and me patronizing bitcoin it will last.

If the entire globe get involved in the blockchain business then I don't see bitcoin dying off but if there is a form of centralized control as it is against the motive of the technology then its a problem

I agree with you completely - the life of bitcoin depends on its users. And if people lose interest in the crypto currency, then it will begin to die. But I think that this will not happen soon

No one can never know what will happen in the future with anything in the world instead we can just speculate everything of it by the history of that specific thing so if Bitcoin will ever survive in this world then that thing is not for sure as there is no permanent in the world and everyone and everything is subject to change. For now I can't see any reason for Bitcoin's down fall or getting vanish in the future, the only thing that can be the reason of lowering the price of Bitcoin for me is when there is a much more greater digital currency technology that can out play it.

BIG WINNER!

I do not think that there will be any centralize control over bitcoin. bitcoin will remain as decentralize because it is created as decentralize currency and  therefore we do not expect that anyone will get control over bitcoin. it is the first decentralized and anonymous currency of the world. Bitcoin will also continue as number one crypto currency of the world.

Since you have said it,i would like to know how much coins do you have to dump in two to three years time, just to make an assumption whether you are making and dumb decision or not.  Tongue The survival question of bitcoin is being asked several times in this forum ,there is nothing that stops bitcoin,so why do you even think about survival when there is no threat against bitcoin.

Yes bitcoin will survive for a long long time. As time pass people are getting awareness about bitcoin they are also taking more interest to become part of bitcoin world and which is making bitcoin more stronger. I think that very soon bitcoin users will be in billions and trillions. Most of the countries will accept  bitcoin as legal currency just like japan which will also give more support to bitcoin. Therefore we can expect that bitcoin will survive for a long long time.
