I think it will survive for a long time. For a century and another centuries to come. Though it may undergo numerous hard forks, but i think Bitcoin will survive because i have read an article that this cryptocurrency is a long term type of digital coin.

It has survive all this time despite criticism, very low value, and linked to scams and criminality and despite all of that bitcoin strive and gained popularity today and that is a big reason enough to survive even more in the coming future. Bitcoin will survive as long as the block chain keeps moving - which means as long as it is still profitable to mine - could be that a limit is reached in the future where that is not the case (which could be after all blocks are mined and tx fees don't cover mining fees, although it could be that difficulty drops to counteract that) - however I suspect some kind of fork will arise once the chain is approaching completeness such as implementation of PoS or adding infinite coins DOGE style.
