Shit coin... No i mean altcoin is not good to invest right now. Almost altcoin have its price really low. I lose more than 30% my balance for now. Look btc, i will invest btc now.

Altoins with good project behind will be great investment, but most of them are shit coins with no future. And here is the problem, which one I should hold? For me only few...top 3-5 plus my heart tokens like BAT. Other alts only for trating to get more BTC and ETH.

i am not sure what kind of altcoins are you holding, but if your coin does not have any high potential to grow, i think you should sell them already to exchange to bitcoin, which will bring you high benefits, but if your altcoins has high potential to rise in the future, you should hold them a little bit longer, maybe after the segwit event.

Of course, Altcoin is a lot more profitable. I think there is a bright future of Altcoin. If you have to invest in this you must have the experience, be skilled. Then you will benefit from Altcoin. yes. It has a good future. You need to look at the altcoins you have chosen. Review the projects, services, marketing and the team. Altcoins are very profitable, you just need to pick the right one. You have to buy it at the right time and sell it at the right time. If you keep picking shitcoins then expect that there will be no future from it.

I believe altcoins are very profitable but the present situations are very bad for altcoins. The more BTC price is increasing, the more altcoins prices are decreasing. Basically i am fadeup with recent altcoins behavior.

based on the present situation of altcoin this is bad now but when the right time comes yes this may become more profitable to have altcoin then i believe also that altcoin is really good for the future.

My iwn perspective about altcoin is that I only trade it but not for long term. I admit there are some coins that have profited for like 1000% but cant stay on that range. Bitcoin’s volatility is a big factor for its movement. Like for now as bitcoin always hits is ATH, altcoins are being crushed and hit its bottom. Altcoin is a great way to have a great profit, actually more from bitcoin if traded in short term. I think you just need to look for a very promising altcoin but no one can assure that it will ne successful. But I think altcoin has its own place in our society, it just need to prove itself and not try not to be dependent on bitcoin.

investing in altcoins are very risky some of altcoins are not increase even holding for 1 year mostly that has no project anymore but some altcoin are very profitable because of many plan by the dev for the future of their coin so pick the coin that has a good project for the future.

If you made no profit in 6 month, you have made the wrong choice at the begining.
In the last 6 month many coins(altcoins and shitcoin) have pumped so you have to choose another method because the one you are currently use is not profitable.
The main rule is to buy at the bottom when you the chart hit a support and sell when you are near  a resistance, if you don't made profit in 6 month following this rule you have a real problem, try to determinate it and fix it but never give up, It took me time too but now my ROI is amazing.

In my opinion, some altcoins have a bright future, while others will not survive. There are too many coins and too many scams and shit coins out there. So before investing in any coin, it is advisable to make your own research, to check what other people are talking about that coin and then to invest after you are sure that this is a good project. From my own experience, sometimes good projects just need time to rise in value so it is the best what you can do, is to hold them for a longer time. Now we are witnessing a rise of a Bitcoin value due to the fork, and all or almost all altcoins are gone to red. I think that after the fork, altcoins will continue to rise. So my strategy is to hold my altcoins and wait for better times.

The loss from your alts cannot mean like altcoins are not profitable. It's totally based on which coin you choose and what time. If you didn't get any idea of choosing which one then take your option from top 5 coins in market. 6Months is very high duration that gives you nothing.
I suggest you to choose anyone from following may useful - ETH, Nem, Monero...

Yes altcoins are very profitable but it's need a stable price of bitcoin. Once bitcoin become stable they will give you profit. So don't sell your coins hold them tightly.

The price of altcoins now is very low, making the investors all around the world dont want to invest in altcoins anymore, moreover bitcoin price now is very high and dominating the market, so i think altcoins now will have a very hard time to develope now until next year they may get back.
