If i read this discussion's title literally, yes altcoins (and esp bitcoin) are the future. We are now heading to much greater technology. That's why we need to get adjusted to it also.
But in investing, you should be really cautious and alert on scam/ fake coins.
Me myself is also finding it hard to distinguish which is real and which is fake.
But we should really try hard on researching and reading/understanding more on the altcoins we want to invest.
so in the end, we could really say, that "it's really worth the time and effort".

The 6 months that you hold altcoins that you do not even benefit from are saddening. But altcoin is really useful, if you buy and sell altcoins at the right time you will definitely earn. You do not have to be tired, persevere to wait, be diligent and you need to intensify your research so you can be successful.

Altcoins are very profitable. you can earn profits by trading them. It depends upon in which altcoins you invest and how wisely design the portfolio. I suggest you to try your luck in Ethereum, Monero Ripple and Zcash. as you didn't mention in which coins you invested so I could better elaborate it. Anyway just remember some altcoins deliver slow gains and some deliver comparatively fast but altcoins do deliver profit.

Haha, maybe you do not know the time for long term investment. Holding is a form of long term investment. So, 6 months or 1 year or few years are normally. In stock or real estate market, many people spent more than 10 years to receive the benefits from their investment.

Haha, maybe you do not know the time for long term investment. Holding is a form of long term investment. So, 6 months or 1 year or few years are normally. In stock or real estate market, many people spent more than 10 years to receive the benefits from their investment.

Maybe 6months is not enough, really not enough cause as far as i know it takes a year if you really wanted to have a profit and depends on the altcoin that you are trying to hold for more knowledge about the coin that you are holding for.

Altcoins are great and profitable, but you should choose altcoin with the possibility of increasing the value. You must be updated with altcoins and choose the right coin and sell it at the right time. In the meantime, sell your altcoin, then buy the right one even if you dont have any profit with your coins what you're holding now. Its a charge of experience.

I also keep altcoin and wait until I sell it at a reasonable price.
for now i have ETH and waves, maybe i will add some altcoin again like LTC, NEO and others.
because I believe altcoin is also worth to invest
