A bit more than a month passed since time when the author has asked its question. I hope he has got one thing — investing in altcoins is a very profitable business as well as trading with alts. The difficulty here is to guess which crypto will go up.
But now almost all alts is going up! So you just invest in some and you will have profit!

It's a good time indeed the market was so bearish since august, time to reclaim % of total crypto market. But in log term bitcoin will lose even more % market share if nothing change. We need bitcoin core innovative ASAP, a lot of problem with scaling need to be solved.

They were the start,  it is a pleading of the new era. Bitcoin is becoming more imptant, a new of transaction and payment method. Simpler than every other. Distribute the news about btc, ppl will start using it. they will not utilize it if they do not know what's bitcoin.for the moment, only bigsinesses use btc. but we if start making btc more well-known, i think much more people will use btc. buro

Why did you not even gain with your 6 month holding period? There must surely be some growth in 6 months. Even those little known altcoins are growing a little. That is half a year already. Look at how Ethereum surges past its ATH. Look at how Litecoin went to the $100 stage. Look at Strat with its very swift growth? I think you are pulling and pushing in and out of the market with wrong timing that's why.

Altcoin future will good but it will according to market situation because market is the main thing to moving the altcoin price by effecting bitcoin, the bitcoin news of harfork is announced and due to this every one wants to buy bitcoin and due to this bitcoin price is more and more high and in result the altcoin price is going down and that is why i think you must wait for sometime to buy altcoin till the hardfork of the bitcoin and you can pick the good  altcoins at the bottom for good profit in future.

Altcoins will have a great future. Now a lot of the projects which have no value because they have no value to society and such interest will Leave. I think in 5 years there will be maybe top 200 projects. All other projects would to leave the market. A Scam will be much less.
Choose top alcony. Preferably with platforms not the original forks and you will be success in abroad for 5 years

Yes there is future in the altcoins, actually there are lot of community here got prospered here because of altcoin actually whether it is for Trading or Participating in the ico project or partaking in the bounty campaign.

Obviously only some of them will survive. I believe in IOTA, ripple, dash, litecoin. Will invest 10% of my speculating money (which is 10% of my savings) into altcoins. Rest to ETH and BTC.

of course altcoin are the future. All the payments will be created with altcoin in future. Ethereum has become stable. Stability is the big part of altcoin payments. in future there will not much scams. people think "if i buy bitcoin in $50" and they are regretting. now it has become to $10000. I think Altcoins trading is profitable.Firstly we must choose profitable coins and then buy them in correct time and sell them in correct time.Then we can get more profit from altcoin traiding

Some of the Alt coins got pumped heavily in june but some alt coins are left behind i think in 2018 we can pump of alt coins
