These are those who are clueless about how bitcoin works and how they can make a profit, sometimes there are still many people who do not understand bitcoin as gambling even as a fraud is harmful, and some are against it because they already feel left behind the price of bitcoin at this time and expect bitcoin prices to come back down for them to buy, once they buy them turn around the price of bitcoin rises as high, maybe that's one of their ideas.
And the other set of people that, just don't like bitcoin because of its risk and also the volatility because there is a high chance that bitcoin might just lead to a huge price dump which will result for a huge loss for them also so they prefer to stay away from bitcoin but overall they are not against bitcoin they just don't like it.

Many peoples don't know the mechanism that how bitcoin is worked so lack of knowledge is first thing that makes them against the bitcoin they don't understand the system behind it.

Maybe they are afraid of cyrpto moneys. Or maybe they have invested in other things and don't like bitcoin so don't want rise of bitcoin. Yes so many people against bitcoin but so many people support bitcoin and so many people bought bitcoin

The popularity of bitcoin as an investment asset and the associated significant volatility of the rate make it less attractive. A currency can comfortably circulate only when the measure of value from transaction to transaction remains more or less stable.

Many people probably are against bitcoin is because they may not really know how it works and it is impossiblw for them. You have a point when you said that they are scared of how it can impact the society because this is a new thing for them.

Ignorance. Most people don't know how the technology behind Bitcoin works. It's human nature that if you don't know anything about something you tend to go away from it. Unreliable sources. And if these people who are ignorant about Bitcoin learn something bad it which is not true. It will scare them more. |

Many people assume that bitcoin it could bring harm to everyone, because people think bitcoin is often used for such terrorist crime, drugs. so many people around the world against the presence of bitcoin.
Too many accusations because they didn't want to look at the positive way of Bitcoin, they just simply hate it then they will absolutely find everything that bad and stick all of them with the titlle "Bitcoin" and spreading it out to the world . 2017 they failed on it but actually the goverments did very well in 2018 , specially in the first quarter of the year. |

Yes, There's still a lot of people who are against or do not believe in bitcoin and what I think of is - it is because of the risk of security. I even tried to discuss this with my friends at work and they do not believe that they can earn money in bitcoin even without any investment.
Many People think that bitcoin is illegal and bitcoin is using criminal activities.many countries don't accept bitcoin because their people don't realise bitcoin facilities. |

Because they don't understand the true meaning and value of bitcoin. They don't want accept the changes in our technology yet they don't have intention to learn it. Maybe some of them are skeptical to the point not knowing even trying once in their lives.It is a threat and when you face a threat you need to face it (of reject it).I think that people don't really understand what Bitcoin is. They feel like it is drug/money launder/illegal currency that can only bring bad to the world. The only reason they feel this way is due to brain washing of the media, governments, financial institutions, etc.  |

If the majority of the population believes that Bitcoin is mostly used by the criminals and money launderers, then it can have an impact on the future acceptability of Bitcoin. No one is actually against Bitcoin. It's either them having missed out and thus are heavily disappointed, which in some cases can turn into a form of hate. Or they lack the knowledge to understand something, wich again can turn into a form of hate. In both cases it's nothing more than a lame attempt to cover that person's own weakness/stupidity/ignorance - that directly goes up for banks and governments as well. From banks and governments I already know that nothing will change, but when it comes to people, it all comes down to education. If they understand what Bitcoin is, what decentralization means, and the freedom that comes with it, they eventually will change their way of thinking, I am sure of that.
I agree with you, no one is against bitcoin at all, There are simply too many people who do not understand it. Partially missed the good chance from it. Governments and banks are always in control, wanting to collect taxes, and in part because they do not want to lose their interest because most of the assets of the most powerful will be affected. But they can only hold back, but they will not be able to stop it. |

I think alot of people haven't taken the time to understand what it is. But, in the coming years more and more people will be introduced to it. Showed my dad a documentary of Bitcoin last night. He seems less against it now  People against bitcoin because thy are not well inform the benifits they get . They cannot stop bitcoin to grow specially the technology is keep on innovating. Some people is still trying to keep the old tradition, so it's hard for them to accept the changes. |

Because they didn't know what is cryptocurrency so that's they did not understand it well.They are afraid to invest their money that it will be lost due to its inflation of price in bitcoin.Mainly the government is against it as they are shaken by Bitcoin's growth and its rule. Cryptocurrency has shown his growth massively in the currently market. This is the reason the govt doesn't allow / accept it. |

I think just because there are many people not know about bitcoin. many people out there who like bitcoin and some who do not like.
Some people have opinions that bitcoin has the potential to be used for terrorism financing and money laundering because perpetrators are transacting under pseudonyms.
Moreover, the value used in the digital currency, fluctuate with an unnatural value that has the potential to cause public losses.
