Why are so many people against bitcoin?

Based on my experience, other people think that bitcoin is a scam and a waste of time. At first that is also my thinking because i was too scared to learn about other things in internet and i thought it could possibly hack my computer and get my personal information so i didn't continue in using bitcoin that time. But after some time, my friends convince me and i observed that they are really earning a lot in bitcoin i start believing in it and studied bitcoin. So the point is, its up to the person whether he wants to learn bitcoin or not. They just need to find their own reason to start believing in bitcoin. 

Some person who does not like bitcoin especially our friends and relatives will kept saying not to deal with cryptocurrency as it will just make you scam and your time will just be wasted, they will pull you down too, and some governments does not like it as they are seeing this as a big threat in the cash system.

Well I could definitely tell you that banks are against bitcoin since bitcoin is overcoming the bank's potential. Bitcoin has now been more accessible and easier. The only thing holding bitcoin back is the ability to transact faster and not to mention the transaction fees.

Many people are against to the bitcoin, because they have no idea what this technology is . Maybe for now they were against to this crypt currency, but when the days they know the good help of this coin I'm sure you will like to used it instead of paper money. I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

They've just started bitcoin, they must have heard the news that it reached 20000$ and tried to invest. But thats the peak price and so it dropped.

As for the government, they just want to decrease crime rate in countries.

Yes, There's still a lot of people who are against or do not believe in bitcoin and what I think of is - it is because of the risk of security. I even tried to discuss this with my friends at work and they do not believe that they can earn money in bitcoin even without any investment.We all know why banks are so against bitcoin. It's because people are rejecting the printed notes made by banks and are adopting these bitcoin

People are not really against it. Most people/national officials refuse to use currency as bitcoin, but they support family members who participate in the Bitcoin market. I think this is just a trick. They are just to reduce the value of Bitcoin sales in order to get the lowest price.
They want to make huge profits.

Ignorance played the most part of it.  Many people do not understand  Bitcoin, they do not have knowledge of it for now and maybe they are not interested.  Negative news makes it the more so that  for people who have no knowledge of Bitcoin, for them Bitcoin is a scam. Eventually maybe in the near future and  because of the high technology {internet} now, people will learn and understand Bitcoin.  I myself is teaching the member of my family Bitcoin so that they will knew that Bitcoin is not a scam.  It is the bad people{scammer} who are making bad  impression, not  Bitcoin.

Well now even the ordinary banks and the government are accepting bitcoin because it is full of profit for them as well, For me there is nothing better than bitcoin I will invest in bitcoin because our government are now gradually accepting bitcoin and they are supporting bitcoin, so I have faith that soon in future bitcoin will be able to see as the currency of the era, better if you buy and we should increase the knowledge of the people about bitcoin because according to me the reason behind it is the lack of knowledge only nothing else.

many of those "many people" you see are not against bitcoin. they are actually heavily invested in it but they pretend otherwise. someone who is spreading FUD in 99% of the times wants the price to drop so he can either short bitcoin or because he has some buy orders placed ahead of time at certain low prices.

i honestly can not think of anybody who does not benefit from bitcoin! even banks that some people say are against bitcoin or bitcoin is against them are happy about bitcoin. not only bitcoin introduced blockchain technology to them to improve their business but also it has opened up new ways for banks to make money. banks are in fact making a lot of money because of bitcoin, all these traders are using banks to handle their money transfers and there are lots of them

Most of them think that bitcoin is the same as the existing payment system that is paypal, i often hear news and discussion in the forum that people rate bitcoin the same as paypal and do not make them interested even though i never explained.

This is because they do not know about bitcoin, the biggest problem is nowadays more and more media are paid to provide negative information, even I've seen discussion on facebook and twitter that who can make negative news about bitcoin then he got the prize.

I think the reason why many people are still against in bitcoin is because they don't look for the benefits that they may get in bitcoin.
All they only know is bitcoin is very volatile and unpredictable so there's no assurance for the profit you are longing for.

I think those who fight bitcoin are Governments. Some countries started banning bitcoin. Because an uncontrollable technology and there are troubles with money laundering and tax related.
