The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?
Nope, not all coins are dying. Maybe some of the coins that are dying are those who have miserable service or have failures most of the times in the system. But not ALL coins are dying. And some are just on stand by because it is not stabilized. But it is not true that the market is in red, it is actually green signal.

They are sometimes going down but they are also sometimes going up. This is normal daily work for the coins. I think that they are not dying it seems that people are now focusing on bitcoin instead of altcoins.

Now you can see that a few altcoins are rising because some people are also now focusing on it.

Oh man we still don't see all of them. Dip from 5k to 2.9k make my balance reduce in half. Because big dady go to the moon, everyone drops their alt and scared to death to bag holding alt in bitcoin bullsession.

But see when bitcoin going up again like 10k or something and suddenly price drop for 80% like in 2013 dip. That's gonna be an epic sea of red. That's just beginning

if my opinion, stay calm, do not be too hasty especially if already treding and coin we buy fall, stay as long as we can, I am very sure it will not be possible all alt coin is flushed, there will be a graph that will spur up , always look at the situation and read the news, I think if we are sure and not hurry, there must be a way

Those funds are all locked into blue chips like BTC, ETH, DASH dude, soon or after they would flow back into your favorite alts and the cycle would be expected to repeat once any huge news falls upon them, they are basically closer to fiats and more appealing and fluid compare to alts in which had to go through alt->eth/btc->fiats. Alts are just weak against them and fall is inevitable when the time isn't right, sell off quick and dip it again will still secured your profits though, it's about timing to entry and get off soon even or just HOLDDD like most of us do in these time.

i think it doesn't mean all of them are dying. all coins fell because bitcoin grew.
altcoin will grow again quickly. market goes up and down, dont worry.
Eth and waves is most popular in the coin market and it will be a Perfect future for all.

Not all alternate coins are dying because if we look back into the past and compare it to the future, we can see some of the alternate tokens value may be too low but now it may be really high. If we can take Ethereum as an example, it is reaching new milestones because of the development it is getting and it is reaching a higher value for now.

I do worry a little because of the absolute deluge of new coins and tokens. When this happened early on and 100's of altcoins became thousands, then the altcoin market went into a three year lull. I hope that won't repeat.

Maybe focus investing 80% on the hardcore coins then? I am seriously thinking of selling 80% of my LTC and buy ETH for it in return

Litecoin is good like ethereum. I wouldn't sell my litecoin for ethereum, but I would sell my altcoin for ethereum. We trust the future of ethereum here, and we're looking forward for more improvement.

This routine of falling down and up is just a normal thing in the market. No one knows when will the BTC stop from rising its price to give way for the altcoins. If you're only hoping for a better price for your altcoins, then being a trader is not your cup of tea.

Accumulate Bitcoin. The bottom is in or near it.

Okay, but ETH making bigger steps now than LTC. Will think it over, thanks.

If you do not take into account the fact that now there is a lot of scams, then there are a number of other reasons. Many developers throw their token into free swimming. They do not want to support his course. Many just earn themselves on it for a while. Technology or a good product has a good effect on the coin. It is necessary to search and buy just such. This is not the key to success, but such coins will not die.

From most speculations it's clear that ethereum is gaining more potential to grow and increase its market. Same time, as most of the altcoins were based on the ethereum platform altcoins other than bitcoin too will grow. No altcoin seems to be dying, maybe the market might have decreased.

It's usual in the crypto market to see such fluctuations. The market is very very volatile when compared to traditional markets. Volatility means that the prices are increasing and decreasing by a lot (10-20%) the reason for that is because the traditional markets (FX markets, which are trading big currencies such as the Euro or Dollar) have several trillions in market capitalization and trading volume, which means that price increases are very small. In the crypto market in the other hand, the market capitalization can be anything from a couple of millions to billion, which isn't much. What that means is that a person or a group of persons with a couple of millions can change the prices a lot, because their investments are changing the supply/demand ratio much more than if they would put their money in traditional markets (which won't have much effect on the price).
