Yes, it was red last week but started to rise again this week after the hard fork. You will get some losses when you did not hold your investment, for sure, when you hold it, you can have a nice profit when it pumps again. |

Just because it is red it means the coins are dying. No they are not. Apparently, the coins are red because they are affected by bitcoin's hardfork. Fortunately, that is just temporary because by the time bitcoin's hardfork end and bitcoin recovers, so will the other coins who's value is somewhat dependent on bitcoin's value.

Well entire market is red probably because of this upcoming hardfork SegWit2x which would have deep impact on the bitcoins and bitcoins being the main coin therefore other coins are been affected too from this hard fork.But i think that it would be temporarily and soon all will be back to green.

i cant agree with you that its a temporary phenomenon, actually, i think most of the altcoins will die in one or two years, look at those which are beyond the top 100 market cap, do you think they will survive as most of them are just scams |

Yes, it is an entire blood bath. I can't believe that this is happening but I guess it is all about the rising of bitcoin. Because you know, after before the fork, bitcoin will go down so badly and makes the alt go high. And after that bitcoin will go pump and alts will blood bath and that is what is happening right now. |

Because you know, after before the fork, bitcoin will go down so badly and makes the alt go high. And after that bitcoin will go pump and alts will blood bath and that is what is happening right now. Don't worry about it. Price of all coins will rise back soon. It's very normal when you see price of cryptocurrency dump and pump everyday cause it's the way trader make profit. Beside I agree with you that it's the effect of the hard fork but I think everything will be fine soon just try to hold a little bit more and be patient the price will be rise back soon  |

A red sign does not automatically mean that they are dying. Neither is it a sign that everyone is losing money. The last time altcoins turn red was when bitcoin rose high in the charts with very huge strides. That just happened very recently. Many people shifted to bitcoin at that time. They instead gain much as a result. Red marks also appear attractive to buyers. Perfect timing is always the key. |

No I don't think that all coins are dying. Most of altcoins went to red because people sold altcoins to buy bitcoins and gain some extra coins during the fork. I will just hold my altcoins and wait on better days. For me it doesn't have sense to sell the altcoins when they are worth less then I payed them. I will forget on them and waiting better days which I am sure will come again.

As an investor,u must calculate your risk through reaearch and study about the coins or ICO you want to invest into

I'm only worried about all the Bitcoin forks. It is confusing to new people and deters new people from entering. Also the forks seem to have killed the momentum in the entire cryptospace. Since crypto lives on new people entering and momentum, forks are proving problematical.

Not even close, you only lose if you sell. If there hasn't been a dramatic change about your desirable coin(s), you should buy even more. Remember, money is created just in the opposite way the majority is doing. That's right. According to my readings, many people have mentioned that this usually happens before a fork happens. It affects the value of coins negatively as it lowers down for a couple of weeks. Some people say that if you're a trader, then it's best to hold on to your coins, while if you only get them to sell them, it would be best to sell your coins before the fork happens. It's just with how you play the market and your goal. So, I guess just trade wisely. |
