been doing similar things to what others have been, saving a small amount like 0.01btc for my teen son every month, started a year ago and hopefully he learns the value of investing in the future, itl be a good starting step for him, giving him that jump in capital considering how much bitcoin is growing each year.

It is good that some investment is being done on regular basis. Also invest only that much which wont effect you if the prices drop suddenly too much. Else it would become more difficult for yourself if the value drops and you cannot sustain with too much if investment done in the single coin itself.

this can be a very good idea. The way the value of bitcoins are increasing day by day it can prove a good idea in the long run. If we buy bitcoins now for saving it can increase in its value and we can save a good sum for future.
It’s a very good idea that bitcoin is going to help in future of students and I think we must keep save bitcoin for them because in coming time education is also going very expansive so I think bitcoin can help them in their future so I’m sure that there will some parents that they will going to keep save bitcoin for their childrens.

I really like your thoughts. because you think for the future of your child and your family. bitcoin is a very profitable unvestasi model for you. if you buy today and keep it for a very long time. maybe later you will get a big profit that you can give to your child. you will make her happy to earn money from the hash of storing bitcoin. when compared with saving fiat money may be the value of fiat money will go down from time to time. so in the future .. probably will not get a profit because of the decline in the value of the currency.

Keeping other physical asset for your children is very easy but storing bitcoin for your children is very risky because the wallet may be hacked before your children grow to maturity so it needs a high level of security consciousness.

I agree seciurity is great concern here how to seciure BTC. Also it needs good place to noone can easy access and copy seed.
House cleaner can be a problem.

Agree that this is best long term investment out there no tax no cost to upkeep and more it works that have good chance for nice returns.
Periods like 18years are really big and BTC can make nice moves then while gold / silver can stay where they are.

bitcoins to real money and deposit part of it on that bank account. You can deposit all of it too. It depends on you. The important thing here is to secure your wallet that holds your bitcoins.

that's a nice and smart move from you, props to you.
Saving something every months (fiat, btc) for our childrens it's the best way to give them something to start with, you never know what's the future holds and if now we are able to save something that's something that everyone should do, think about our childrens!

I would buy an hardware wallet in a security box in a bank (or hidden somewhere safe aka fireproof, waterproof, dustproof, etc.etc.) with the instructions and give all the details to another trusted person, that's it.
It is really a good plan for your children to save money for their future. Youre a excellent parent if you will do that fo your childrens sake. I commend those kind of parents.

Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh
I am not married yet,  have a child may still be long but this is even a good thing because I can prepare early for my son's future. I hope that the value of btc continues to increase in the future.password wallet is very important so I will make a wallet for my child ,for my child's future savings and I will give when he has started to understand.

I don't think the bitcoin price still high that much after 20 or 25 years later. To me, the first thing is to having a small amount of bitcoin to use it on other purposes like start a business or just to travel. We can't predict the bitcoin price in the future because who knows what happen whether it is bad or not. So earn bitcoin, open your own business for your children is the way i'm gonna do in the future

The idea is good but quite risky at the same time. Majority of people always say, "bitcoin's price has no place to go but up" but the reality is that there's still a chance that some unprecedented event might unfold that makes the price of bitcoin slump before the funds could be used by your children. IMO, its much better to loan that money into a bank with a reasonable APR; its much safe and secure.
