As I understand it, you can try to disable 2FA and withdraw your deposit through an email confirmation

It's not working I get "Something went wrong", and my phone number is exactly the one I used 3 months ago to withdraw without problems.

How's bitfinex processing express USD wire transfers these days? Anyone still use them? Or should I look at other exchanges? Please post feedbacks.

Looking at how nobody is complaining about anything, guess bitfinex is tip top.

*lol* That was a good one.

I would say the persons complaining simply gave up, resignating.

Though it might really be possible. I don't know anymore since bitfinex, with all these obvious coding errors, looked way too dangerous for me to hold any reasonable amount of coins there. If small or bigger hints are already given then i could not ignore that.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Since your latest UI update a few weeks ago your site seems to be leaking memory. A lot of it, especially on the "Margin trading" tab and a bit less so on the Stats page (in fact, almost every single page does so but these are the worst ones). That is to say if I keep the Margin tab open for a mere 24hrs it is consuming about 1.2+ GB of RAM, almost 15x as much as when it was freshly loaded. The Stats page within the same timespan is using about 4-5x as much as when it was freshly loaded.

I tested in the latest Chrome stable but I'm pretty sure it happens in any other browser.

My firefox has been quite RAM hungry lately and when I stopped using bitfinex in firefox, it's no longer eating up my RAM (the other browser doesn't get to show the leak because I changed my behaviour to "log in, trade, log out, close tab"). So I can confirm there must be some kind of leak somewhere.

Can't complain about express withdrawals, the money's usually in my bank account within 24 hrs, sometimes a few hours less, sometimes more but it's a long way from Hong Kong to Western Europe so I guess that's quite fast given the fact that we're talking about antique banking technology.

In fact I always pick the express option as BFX is charging 20$ minimum in w/d fees anyways and as I'm usually withdrawing less than 2000$ their 1% cut for express doesn't surpass that minimum amount. Sure, the 20$ are a bit of a waste for small(ish) amounts but I guess that's a fair price to pay for their good service (and for now partially sloppily coded website - nothing that can't be easily fixed though).

People moaned about bitfinex but they are still going strong and haven't done a runner like other exchanges.  Good on them i see their volume is climbing back to close the gap on stamp.  Probably overtake stamp again since they have more options and litecoin trading.

Bitfinex is a great exchange no doubt. I'm just nervous about the US gov. snooping around. I feel like they may freeze bitfinex's bank accounts as part of their "investigation" and then things will blow up quickly or slowly.
I may put a little money there for quick trades, but holding funds there makes me uneasy these days. Wish it were not the case.

I'm not as nervous about holding funds there, but the lending return is so low now I don't see the point.

Depends on your other investments and what you are lending out I guess... USD returns are still relatively decent compared to a savings account.

Not sure if I got your question right but: BFX immediately cuts 0.1% for non-express and 1% for express withdrawals with 20$ as an absolute minimum for both kinds of transactions so for any amount below 2000$ the express-feature doesn't cost anything extra. Besides that: if your bank account's main currency isn't USD then your bank will exchange the USD coming from BFX into your local currency at whatever (lousy) exchange rate they deem you worthy of and depending on your bank they'll subtract yet some more cents or a few dollars to do just that.

[...] and depending on your bank they'll subtract yet some more cents or a few dollars to do just that.

What's even worse: sometimes these charges are percentages of the total amount - because apparently it is MUCH harder to type an extra 0, so it warrants 10 times more fees...

If you need money fast, try to find a local bitcoin trader that offers good rates, withdraw BTC and sell them locally for cash.

Made a deposit previous evening, which isn't showing in my online.  Sent email to support, no answer.  Currently has 76+ confirmations on the blockchain.

Bought more this morning for withdrawal and did confirm the email link.  Still processing online after 2 hours...

Issues resolved by support.

Lost some money watching it drop from $273 last night to a current $265 as my deposit finally acknowledged just now.

Are you saying that something went wrong with 2FA around this date?

Jesus, I can't withdraw USD from my account because I am not able to receive the SMS verification (2FA auth), nor am I able to disable it, because I just dont receive the F-ing SMS to my mobile number, and I have waited for an hour already, tried multiple times.
