There a lot of apps with viruses outside the official app stores. How's DAO Playmarket going to make sure the downloads are safe?

That's one of my concern. An answer to this would be great  Grin
Hello! At the first stage, all applications are scanned for viruses and exploits in automatic mode, and then manual moderation is performed.Later, as the platform develops, the moderation algorithms will be determined by the community(DAO), taking into account the development of technologies.

Thanks for the information, good to have this already planned.

Congratulations on the support, issues like this are really common and can greatly influence the decision of investors, I will be following DAO, but I see as a potential investment in the short and long term, because it will have a space acquired among the giants already acting on these platforms

Nice to see that the security is an important point in the project, there is a lot of malware in app you can download on internet and even in the play store sometime. Playmarket will handle the security and will scan and review each application for each app.

The hardest part will be to get apps added to your platform. Look at windows phones there are a lot of apps not available on their app store.

i bet they will use cylance antivirus for scanning the apps beforehand due to the machine learning algorithym of cylance, it can dissect shady apps by their code patterns before their behaviours Smiley

Oh wow, looks like you have extensive knowledge of this subject. Do you know how effective cylance is? In a way you could say it gonna be a competition between malware writers and the antivirus programmers.

One of the advantages with this App Store based on the blockchain is for example that users will have the opportunity to invest in the applications of their choice to help the development of the app they like and thanks to their investment they will also become a shareholder of the company which have created the application. Good for developers so but also for the users Smiley

I was a big big supporter of the mobilego decentralized game store, your project is very different even if there are similitaries, anyway; just to say i am happy to read such a good project on the paper.

If the commission is really low, there is no reason for dev not to user their platform.

Well for an app developer that plans to add a token to his application, the DAO PlayMarket will be the best choice.

The big App Stores take 30% and DAO PlayMarket promises to lower that fee substantially. That's the incentive.

I did not know of these details, it makes the project even bigger and increases our chances of excellent returns on this investment, even more with the ease to users reducing the administrative fees by 30%, fees that are absurdly charged on the most famous platforms and More expensive apps

as i have understood, this will be only available on Android? So even microsoft windows 10 phones or even Apple iOS is not planned?

I think for now it's only for Android, later they plan to do the same thing for iOS.

honestly, i think this will never ever happen. apple has his strict rules and would never let a second app store into his own appstore Oo"

Imo, it could be possible as the open source paradigm are embraced by most sotfware developers worldwide.

As would apple care about what developers want lol And honestly they are doing good with holding their system clean and on a own environment. Sure they don’t have the same userbase but they don’t need this in the end. The only problem they are struggeling with is that Jobs is no longer and the really innovative new developments are missing.

I think it depends on the operation of DAO, and if DAO have a lot of users, then developers will add to market to get move expose change

I can see why the app store market is interesting to invest in. According to this article https://techcrunch.com/2017/03/03/u-s-consumers-now-spend-5-hours-per-day-on-mobile-devices/ people are spending a lot of time on their apps. In the US, 5 hours a day  Huh

''The time U.S. users are spending in mobile apps is continuing to grow; according to new data released this week by analytics firm Flurry, we’re up to 5 hours per day on our mobile devices. This follows on news from January that said the time spent in mobile apps had increased 69 percent year-over-year.''

They haven't started the ico yet. But if it goes well i believe they will find some respectable exchanges to trade on.

That's really insane but I didn't surprise by it.

Now all the young people on their mobile always. Playing texting etc. But they are always using them one way or another.
