I can see why the app store market is interesting to invest in. According to this article https://techcrunch.com/2017/03/03/u-s-consumers-now-spend-5-hours-per-day-on-mobile-devices/ people are spending a lot of time on their apps. In the US, 5 hours a day ''The time U.S. users are spending in mobile apps is continuing to grow; according to new data released this week by analytics firm Flurry, we’re up to 5 hours per day on our mobile devices. This follows on news from January that said the time spent in mobile apps had increased 69 percent year-over-year.'' Seriously, 5 hours a day spent on mobile devices? That's insane! That's really insane but I didn't surprise by it. Now all the young people on their mobile always. Playing texting etc. But they are always using them one way or another. There are always new exciting applications coming out so im not surprised its that addictive. PlayMarket 2.0. just has to make sure they will offer similar diversity of apps on their platform to keep the customers interested. 5 hours a day looks insane to me that info can't be right. I don't even know how people can have so much free time every day.I mean if you go to university or work, you prepare the food, you make the purchase, ... 5 hours a day seems excessive to me. I don't think it's exaggerated .. just have a look around you.. even when you're sitting on the table everyone is playing with their smartphones... so 5h .. yes why not..

5h is not a lot of time as you may think. please use their phones everywhere, from the toilet to the car (unfortunately). i think it may be a conservative estimate.

The big App Stores take 30% and DAO PlayMarket promises to lower that fee substantially. That's the incentive.
I like the idea, I just wonder if Google and Apple will allow these kinds of external app stores to florish. Apple is closed off, any alternative app stores have been taken down I think. Android has Amazon, Samsung, Opera, and many more.

I've got an idea with regards to verifying the integrity of the app to be publish in DAOPM, the prerequisite of which is that it should be accepted first on either Apple's app store or Google's Playstore.

Just read this, that's quite cray. But if you make the sum of every time you check your phone etc;. you could be near that number. All those people running around like zombies with their smartphone in front of them. I belive that's true when I look around me. I can confirm this since i am reading and writing this currently with android smartphone. And everyone on this bus is holding a phone now when i looked around. I get scared for our future, 8 hours for sleep, 5 hours for the app, there are 11 hours left for work and life. It depends on the smartphone.

Now that's some... inside the box thinking! Is there a way to users can see the version on Daopm's the same as the one on the official AppStore?

How much cut you will take from the app devs? What all cryptocurrencies platform will support?

I read this here http://coinews.io/en/category/1-crypto/article/1062-dao-playmarket-2.0-challenges-google-monopoly-in-android-apps-distribution''Platform DAO PlayMarket 2.0 has all chances to win a part of the market of Android apps thanks to its openness and transparency, as well as users who want to benefit from their favorite apps. Earlier, a decentralized social network Steemit tried to do the similar thing, challenging the Facebook and providing its users the possibility to earn on their publications. It resulted in a 250 million capitalization. Not bad, isn’t it?'' And it makes sense. I like the comparison with Steemit competing with Facebook.

I haven't see any in the crypto space, but the main ones are obvious.

I haven't see any in the crypto space, but the main ones are obvious. I dont think the main ones will try to compete with this. Though I have a doubt that iOs may start their own token in the future as they have all rich customers.

It's actually funny, we are already some sort of cyborgs, melted with our smartphones and smartwatches So 5hours isn't really that much if you divide it over 24H.

It's also important to note that some members of our team have extensive machine learning experience, which means in the future we'll have the option to build our own advanced scanner for malware and other malicious apps. It's definitely a very important aspect of building an App Store, and we're prepared for it!

Why does your platform need an own blockchain and own token? Why not build it on top of any blockchain and use their token?

are you expecting Apple and Google to allow your PlayMarket on their app stores? Isn't the name in itself enough to prohibit it from being even listed?

One of the advantages with this App Store based on the blockchain is for example that users will have the opportunity to invest in the applications of their choice to help the development of the app they like and thanks to their investment they will also become a shareholder of the company which have created the application. Good for developers so but also for the users I was a big big supporter of the mobilego decentralized game store, your project is very different even if there are similitaries, anyway; just to say i am happy to read such a good project on the paper. They become a shareholder? So people get dividend out of the income from the app creator here?
