ONe target maybe will be those free apps with advertisement built in, mostly you can see that in games, like I give you 5 points to spend in the game if you download PlayMarket
Yea that would be a possibility. And if you charge less for listing than google and apple, developers will list it on PlayMarket. this could be the final solution, the winning idea low fee and free distribution of the apps with advertisement built in so that developers can earn from advertising,it would be a good incentive to get them publish on dao...

Yes there is different possibilities to build an economic model and make money with apps. Dao playmaket can become a huge platform for devs and apps users, I’m impatient to start using it.

Exactly, what are you going to market? That you will eventually have a product and it will probably be pretty cool?
People have a short attention span, even if you get a visitor to your site and they think its a cool project, the chances that they remember to come visit you again in a few months is very slim.
Wait until you at least have an MVP, then you can market it and start capturing some leads.
Especially when you plan to use the whole amount of money you raise for advertising, you should plan your steps carefully and only start the campaign when you have something to show.

Could you please tell in couple of words what's the main difference from alike projects? I saw several of them and didn't hear that they become cool.
Which one did you hear about? I honestly did not hear about a competitor before MobileGo for example. MobileGo is focused just on mobile games and Playmarket 2.0. will offer different applications used on phones and tablets.

Undoubtedly the team knows about this, they hire specialists in every industry, a well-chosen team is the key to success.

Could you see them as a competitor to PlayMarket?

1.5 million is not bad at all. Many Kickstarter campaigns would love to raise such an amount.

I agree is a decent amount of money and they should be able to continue with the project with that.

The Dao Team is much more committed and focused on their goal, constructive and hopeful feed backs, plus a huge space left by those who have failed. Playmarket will be great

Why did the other 3rd party app stores fail? And what does PlayMarket have that make it not fail like the others?

Appcoins is mainly for developers, providing advertising and payment integration, they not have a own Market, I think AppCoins is just a SDK for android. DAO PlayMarket also has payment solution

Well its nice to know that an initial 500 plus apps will be available on DAO PM's launch and I'm excited about this! Well, the question is, what kind of apps will this be? Even if you have 500 apps, when the quality is not good enough or there is no need for the apps or no one who want's to buy them, then even a good start with 500 apps could be hard. Do we have a list or something what sort of apps they will have at start?

I dont know whether it has been discussed or not but whether adult apps can be listed here.?

Even if it ws stated that is supposed to be censor free. I mean they must be drawing a line somewhere
