App Updates: Security and P2P Transfers

Tomorrow, on the 12th of March, we are going to be releasing a very important app update. It is going to improve on the security measures we’re currently taking, plus, it will also add the peer-to-peer CHP transfers you have all been waiting for!

Let’s start with the security. Starting on Monday, we will require you to verify your identity via Civic, which is a blockchain-based project specializing in secure identity ecosystem. Don’t worry — it’s a one-time procedure, and since it’s a reliable blockchain project, you know you will stay secure.

The procedure is quite straightforward — all you need to do is download the Civic app (you can do that right now at Apple Store and Google Play Store) and then verify your email address and phone number.

On Monday, a QR code will appear when you try logging in to your CoinPoker account. If you already have a verified Civic ID, you will need to simply scan that code and you’ll be logged in! Easy, right? If you want a more thorough walkthrough, click here for an infographic. Here’s the steps you’ll need from Monday:

1) Download the Civic application;

2) Log in to your CoinPoker account to get your QR code;

3) Scan it with your Civic app;

4) Click “Set up your Civic ID”;

5) Enter your email address and your phone number;

6) Verify your email address and your phone number.

Perfect! Your account just got safer. Remember, that will also help us reduce cases of multi-accounting that we all want to be gone in addition to working as a second factor identity authentication.

What about the peer to peer CHP transfers? They will be available from Monday, too. Simply look for the P2P Transfers tab on the CoinPoker application, and you will be able to send up to 300 CHP daily to any player.

Here’s how: open the P2P Transfers tab, enter the nickname of the player that will receive your CHP, select the amount you would like to send, and click “send”. Totally hassle-free! We hope it will help you spread the word about CoinPoker by introducing your friends to it who may be less experienced in crypto than you are.

Real anonymous poker right. The site has already reached its peak and declining. The paid tournaments are sometimes not even starting because not enough people regged to meet the minimum.

As nice as apps are for kids, most of us still stay as far away from them as possible and smart people are ditching their cell phone faster than cable.  It's just another site killer like the verification, which makes you go on the open market to buy their scam token CHP.  That's where the model is, they give away thousands of free CHP a day which forces people to buy it so you can withdraw it.  The have made winners by default because even if you close you're eyes, someone will get paid regardless and be forced to buy chp to withdraw.

With all due respect to whatever it is you're trying to do, curb scammers which impossible.  It's a disgraceful lie to sell this a " Perfect, your accounts is safer"   If you think a real player is going to reveal all this for a scam site in Estonia or some other crazy island in the middle of the pacific then you need to have another drink.

During the poker bust there was deep hatred for the dollar and scared americans who didn't want to go to jail or have their accounts frozen and even during these times it flopped. That was the height of it about 5 years ago.

This is like putting a sex offender in a change room and saying it doesn't matter because that happened in another change room 5 years ago. You are a non thinking man if you believe the closest related research doesn't matter, especially when all poker sites are short 99% of their expectations and so are the gambling coin. This is empirical evidence, it happened, it's provable, while your comments are smoke in mirrors and lies with nothing to back it up. In poker lingo, you're all AIR.

Please explain clearly, If you did not look a the past history of btc poker and btc gambling coins, what did you do your research on ? Do you you look at gold and silver and decide it's a good time for BTC poker.

The scam is the ICO.

The poker app is the distraction and the vehicle to promote the ICO token CHP. They just re zipped old poker software and sold it as something new, and it must be backed by an ICO. Even though the business requires no employees and no new cash because the software is old and already written and the players are under 50 people so it can be managed by a child.

The world's online poker is now moving in the direction of anonymity. Even PokerStars is thinking to open anonymous tables and tourneys.  

Not true, where do you get anonymous here. The site forces you to lock a wallet and only one wallet to an open ledger where all your deposits and withdrawals are in the open. The sites also forces you to use a third party app with a phone number and a verification process, This is laughable and far from anonymous. This is basically what it takes to become a verified amazon seller, not a .001 poker player.
