HiveOS Linux 0.5-65
* update XMR-Stak to v2.4.7
* update XMRig to v2.6.4
About ewbf v0.4
We try it and watch on ewbf topic threads also. Our conclusion - v0.4 unstable vs previous version v0.3.
So HiveOS team decided don't update this miner to v0.4 because on some configuration it's unusable.
0.4 has a new algo for mining AION which i need and i am using on smos since 10 days withtou problems. i dont see this unstable issue sincerely Did you read official 0.4 thread on Bitcointalk forum? Heaps of people having problems I think its genuine No need to read! I am using it in SMOS and it work perfectly Just because it works okay for you doesn't mean it works for everyone else. Please look at the thread comments: "v0.4 is unstable and disconnects the GPUs," "Exact same issue here. Updating to .4 caused instability with the OC. Had to lower the OC across my rigs that were running stable multiple day runs on .3." "Equihash Miner 0.4 is fast about 10% but very unstable, need catch all bugz." "I cannot use This SW. Im getting always that error of cuda devices busy." Let them fix the bugs first then introduce the patched version to Hive OS  I don't think so... 99% of miners is using 0.4 and work perfectly as i already said Why don't you manually update it in Hive then? Nothing stopping you doing that and its easy to do I don't know how to... You don't know how to update manually but you know everything about 0.4 having no technical issues? Doesn't make sense to me. |

I installed 396.24 drivers, works smooth, but lost manual fan control. No matter what I do, it works only on auto mod, and my cards become hot.
Also autofan.conf options not working, nvidia x server settings also can't run...
Any solution for this problem?

Run this: sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install nvidia-settings -y
nvidia-xconfig --allow-empty-initial-configuration --enable-all-gpus --cool-bits=28 --separate-x-screens |

Hello, I run into issues with one rig. It restarts itselft after while and it appears offline although I can ping it (but no ssh access). I use hiveos 0.5-61
Any way I can debug it ? Is there any log I should look for.

I have a strange issue for some days.
I receive a notification in Telegram and I see on site of my Far that rig is offline - but I can connect to it via putty and I see that it is working and miner working good.
Then in 5 minutes rig appear online and I receive notification in Telegram about it.
Could you please explain to me why it is happening.
