I think this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer:

Is there any intention/ability to integrate the "kbminer" used on the minerbabe OS to allow mining Grin on 4GB AMD cards?

Alternatively, does anyone know if one of the Grin miners available on Hive OS intends to enable Grin mining on 4GB cards?

FYI: I have a mix of 4B and 8GB RX 570 cards and would like to turn my rig towards Grin but i don't really want to switch to Minerbabe OS (or any OS other than Hive)

Cheers,
Ben

I'm answer to this question many times.
kbminer - closed source miner which deeply integrated with own OS (we can call it protection against hacking). So no legal ways to integrate it.

According some information public miner fro 4G cards will be ready in next 1-2 weeks

What is the default API port for gminer?

I'm trying to monitor my rigs from Awesome Miner and if I try to add an extra config argument of "--api 14001", when I restart the miner, I get a log error message of "api cannot be added twice".

So does HIVE add an API port "behind the scene" or something like that?

With miners which have API Hive communicate via API
API port usually described in h-manifest.conf file

For Gminer:
Code:
# API port used to collect stats
MINER_API_PORT=42010

So you can use port 42010 for gminer

It looks like someone skipped school and knows absolutely nothing about punctuation such as commas.
