Added a new custom miner in the HiveOS with the support of the new algorithm YespowerR16 for Yenten coin.

Read instruction - http://forum.yentencoin.info/discussion/12/hiveos-yenten-mining-add-custom-miner-cpuminerytn/

Fields for add custom miner:
Miner name:
Code:
cpuminerytn
Installation URL: https://github.com/bubasik/yenten_yespower2/releases/download/1/cpuminerytn.tar.gz
Extra config:
Code:
 -a yespowerr16 -o stratum+tcp://cpu-pool.com:63368 -u %WAL%.%WORKER_NAME%

You can mine - the miner will automatically change the algorithm at night.

p.s. Changed to YespowerR16 algo - 30 March 2019

Definitely not but you're free to feel that way. Other mining OS have started to add it, so I guess I'll use them until hive gets on board.
^^
Another vote for the AMD memory timing tweaks from me.
Don't know if we can call it "pill", but having at least a choice of pre-defined timings to choose from would already be a big step forward. I trust that means testing a bit first (especially as there's a whole bunch of different AMD GPUs out there), but realistically you want to do that with Vegas and VII's mostly (as one can already use PBE for Polaris).

Hive News

RosKomNadzor IP blocking issue fixed

For users whose mining equipment is installed in the Russian Federation, we have eliminated the problem caused by the erroneous blocking of some of our IP addresses by RosKomNadzor (RKN).
According to public data, the decision to block was made on March 26. In fact, the blocking itself has absolutely nothing to do with Hive and is caused only by unprofessional actions on the part of this organization and some Internet providers who carried out its solution. But since these actions affected our network infrastructure, this required some time and effort on our part.
We continue to work on a solution that will prevent similar situations in the future.
Please treat with understanding the situation that has arisen.

Fixed issues with statistics dropouts
Since 19:45 EET 30 March Hive team finally fixed statistics dropouts which was cause due very high load Hive statistics server and as a result manifested by the disappearance of hashrate on the charts in the user web interface. This didn't affect to mining process in any way.
Sorry for some inconvenience and happy mining!

When I try to mine mtp algorithm XZC with sgminer fancyix, I get the following error.

sgminer exited, waiting to cooldown a bit
sgminer: -c: Error: JSON decode of file "sgminer.conf" failed:
'[' or '{' expected near end of file

How can you do mining? I do not know how to avoid the error.
It's like an error that has always been sgminer

If you can not use sgminer, you have to try another OS.

sgminer uses JSON style - not command line style. So this error as result of wrong config options.
Use tooltips (icons with "i" symbol) to see how to do it right. Tooltips include correct syntax and examples

It doesn't work well yet, but the JSON error is gone. I will try to pack the settings. Thank you very much.
