I have the daemon fully synched but when I open the CLI i takes 10 hours to get the refresh to 21000 /52129. It used to work fine when the heap was around 15000. Did any of you had the same problem?

this website is still not active. it still says "we will ve back as soon as possible". very slow. when will it be active?

Be sure to check the official FB (https://www.facebook.com/electroneum/) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/electroneum) pages as the official updates by the team are posted there.
Some are also posted here, but with so many people commenting it is easy to miss out on them.

Their last email updated mentioned a potential new launch happening on the first or second week of December (https://electroneum.com/2017/11/21/electroneum-update/), but I am sure they will update users when they have a more official date.

Even though I know the current $0.070362 USD will decrease once ICO coins are released and people start dumping, it still gives me hope that once everything stabilizes the coin could start rising again. Even with everything that has happened so far people are still interested in the coin.
Looking forward to the wallet launch once Hackeone concludes testing.

And this is why you should just hold and wait. People that dump immediately could lose a lot of profit. Most coins after an ICO drop a bit and bounce back after a while. I've participated in ICO's months ago and not given it any attention. Most of them went x4

Be sure to honor your post, dump all your coin as soon as you have access to your wallet, I'm sure there will be a lot of takers, considering that this is a legit company with a very good roadmap ahead anyway you are already in profit with the current 6 cents price and with a bonus you are indeed in a profit.

Well, if devs deliver, why would it dump? If majority will buy and hold, than few speculators who sell won't affect the price. If you believe in project don't sell at least not for cheap price. The price was about 15 cents when it went to exchange, so this is next target.

Contraband could you kindly ask the team to send the coins mined to this address etnk6DnM79BWK5ZM8kCczCEpfTcAJMirhDLziDGZeViHg1mW1ThDo9kCUx9hydwjkuHr1oUNhHhFU68 AG1AsBF2r6dhvjgmVD2
When the pool front end went down on the US dev team pool we lost roughly 4 hours of mining at 40,000 (40 k/h) hashes speed when it went down in the first 24 hours.

If you could just have them send these it would be greatly appreciated by our team. Thanks in advance just pm me when sent if possible.

Kryptkeeper1979 I am warning you publicly that you are not to post in this self moderated thread again.

The mod mprep told me to write this and if you post again you will be banned

I just wanted to make sure you understand the importance and potential loss for our team so you do not think I'm joking or trying to fud. Here is our team's account, and picture verification after the US ETN official developer pool stopped paying out.

Please let us know when we can expect our payout, thanks. The pending payout is absolutely incorrect vs. the shares it stopped counting that we submitted.

Contraband, i sent the ETN team an email. It wasn't a pleasant email because I am no longer able to wait for a response more than 2 weeks now. Unless every employee i saw in their videos is a developer can you ask them kindly to look again at the email I sent from our teams email bjorn@janustoken.com and handle this issue. I was notified the official pool is now live.

I assume the coins our team was not paid out should have been sent at this point. Pm me the phone number or direct contact to their team because I believe they are not taking our issue serious and perhaps I can explain that better verbally.

Thanks.

Is it safe to consider at this stage our team has been scammed out of the coins we are owed due to 'technical errors' by the Electroneum team and their official pool on launch? Let us know so I can relay this to our community.

It would be nice to get some clarity on this, whether the coins are there or if they have dissapeared into the abyss, and ideally a bit of info on why if that is the case.

I know I was mining on that pool for ~10hrs without reward because my miners were successfully submitting shares so no red flags were thrown, it was only after I got back from work and checked my wallet did I realise there had been no payouts during that period.

Every thread I read its one scam or another. I mined in a pool first few days and received way less than I was suppose to. That was the last day, fortunately I did the math which most dont.

This crap has to stop.

I agree there are legit posts in here. Investors are concerned with the money that they have invested in the coin. However, it's the same questions that get asked without reading a few posts earlier. In the world of crypto even a couple of days feels like a lifetime. We may need to wait till the 2nd week of December to see an official announcement. Until that time, best to wait and watch.

The same happened to me on a small scale https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2353282.msg24311261#msg24311261

What could I do? really nothing ... notify here, but I am only recommended to change the group ... but ahem and the currency that i have mined? What happened to them?

Also the same thing happened to another person who sent a ticket and I risk saying that he is still waiting for an answer

Can you please confirm if there is double spending of ETN coins within your Network?
According to your github: https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/blob/master/src/cryptonote_config.h
ETN carries only 2 decimals: #define CRYPTONOTE_DISPLAY_DECIMAL_POINT      2

If that is the case, how is the only exchange trading ETN able to execute BUY/SELL orders of up to 8 decimal places?

No explorer exists with a record of greater than (2) decimal places transactions, show where do the additional (6) decimal places of ETN come from?

Thanks

You're not actually trading coins directly between wallets on a coin exchange, once your deposit is credited to your account the balance exists as a database entry and is incremented/decremented based upon trading, deposits and withdrawals. Essentially your coins become virtual so the decimal point rules of the client itself become irrelevant at that point. An exchange could add as many decimal points as they want but most stick with 8 because that's the standard set by Bitcoin.

The only time the 2 decimal point limitation would be an issue would be at the time you come to withdraw as the client won't allow you to send transactions with more than 2 decimal points anything in the remaining 6 decimal spaces would be dust that you can't withdraw.

Thanks for your explanation but it begs the question
if I buy .115 ETN
and buy again .115 ETN
that creates .01 ETN a valid decimal place and amount able to send or rcve.

How are the additional (6) decimal places created?
