Did someone received his ETN with the mobile miner? Mine did reset to 0.41 ETN... I had maybe 15 ETN before and i didn't received it in my wallet.

Same, they did a tweet just to say we would receive it at some stage so guess its just taking a while

@Richard Ellis, are you guys going to hard fork and follow Monero so that ETN is not able to be mined by Baikal Giant N asic cryptonight miner?

You basically spelled out in your whitepaper goals (see below) that you want to avoid ASIC in order to keep ETN in the hands of everyday users that can't afford ASIC miners.

The sad thing about Electroneum is that it is losing its value. It does not matter they release mobile mining app and maybe other features in the future but if you cannot properly trade a coin people will go into other coins and will drop Electroneum.

Right now Cryptopia which is the largest etn trading exchange kind of destroyed Electroneum. I understand trading agreements so they would have exclusivity for a period of time but that should not apply if there are technical problems.

I've deposited Etn from mining almost every day, nothing reached Cryptopia (from the moment they announced the wallet is in maintenance mode). But that was like almost two weeks ago. I know I can trade Etn on other places but I won't make accounts on every obscure trading exchange that is on the planet.

To have highest trading exchange in term of Etn volume not working means to sabotage your coin. I understand might this happen sometimes but for if this issues takes weeks or month... that means you really are destroying your coins.

Read the following links:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Electroneum/comments/82vcnj/cryptopia_still_problems_with_deposits/
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/4024
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2639054.0

This is not only a present situation. It keeps repeating.

This thing happened in the past and it took long time to be only temporary fixed.

I understand you cannot fix Cryptopia's wallet problems but you can list Electroneum on a proper exchange and recommend to everybody to do trading there.

Look at Doge coins, they are everywhere.

For Cryptopia to sabodage their own most traded coin, I can understand (maybe they don't care) but for you to let this happen, that I could not understand.

No matter how much features you add, how much money you invest in your coin, how much effort you put (and I can appreciate this), if such issues annoy your coin owners, nothing good will came out of this. And trading is everything.

If ppl mine and deposit coins to trade and then they cannot use their coins and this happens over and over again those people won't love your coin.

I've seen other coins failing big time because of issues with basic functionality of the wallet, sending and receiving coins, trading, blockchain issues.

I apologize for this angry post but something must be done.

Thank you for your time to read this and your work with Etn!

On the Baikal twitter you can see they have removed Monero from the list of coins it can mine, just see the two consecutive posts, one has Monero listed the next one has it missing.  Let's hope Electroneum will do the same else the difficulty will rocket up and us GPU miner will have to go elsewhere.

Last year,ELECTRONEUM has launched a generous and friend airdrop.

Easy,right?Yeah,but I missed it..
What a pity!
The marketing is working well, great team.

The mobile application is draining the battery too much and for what, for no actual mining, just the simulation? It's a joke application.

I don't see any that in my phone, my phone charging is not draining for mining ETN. The only thing bothering is we are getting very less coins through mobile miner, the thing is they are equally sharing the coins who has good hashrate.

What airdrop are you talking??? The mobile miner? You can still install it and "mine" some ETN. But i don't know when they are going to be delivered. But one day everything is going to work well.

I agree with some parts of your statement but the basic functionality of the wallet for sending and receiving coins does work.  All young coins have issues and I have been in the game for some time so I know.

I agree it is unfortunate that ETN seems locked into Cryptopia but this will change with time.

I find it so funny, and maybe this is the younger generation attitude, that everyone expects problems to be fixed instantly.

For example, we discussed the ASIC threat and people are mentioning that there is a commitment in the whitepaper.

People need to grow up and not expect certain issue to be fixed instantly.

If you don't like what ETN is doing and have very little patience then sell your coins.

Does mining using a mobile phone make any sense?
Is this app written for fun only?
After a whole day of minning I had only about 1 ETN.
It seems to me that it is rather a game of fun rather than earning ETN

It might not seem that much with current value but, for example, you would mine that much in my country and ETN would be 0.25 $ (a value that was reached this year) it would be enough to cover expenses for a mobile service that covers: unlimited min, and 5 GB net at 4g.
If payment would be integrated to let me pay in ETN, it would make sense to let the app to run in the background and pay with my provider with ETN. It's like the mobile services won't cost me anything.

even if mobile users will pay for a mobile service by ETN, what will it change? there is no difference who will dump ETN on exchanges - mobile users or providers (after receiving payment they will need to transfer ETN to fiat)

If you look it that way even BTC has no purpose other than transferring value from a person to another.
The value will be given by the mass adoption and by the demand from users that want to speculate the coin.

Is this coin ever going to be listed on a bigger and more reputable exchange?! I'm sick and tired of waiting. This cannot be real, people are listing new coins on biggest exchanges from the first or second week of the release!!! ETN wake up! Please!

Lol, there is no crypto without mining you know?

Wrong. There is and will continue to be crypto without mining. POS, POC, Tokens, etc. No mining needed for many crypto already. However, mining will continue to have a place as well. GPU mining is the most flexible solution. When one PoW becomes unprofitable, another takes its place.

Well, PoS and PoC are also form of mining. I wasn't talking about PoW only, but the whole process of verifying transactions on blockchain. How could you verify tx's without any of it?

POS coins lose right now their admirers. They invest less. He will soon die. Nobody needs.

There is a lot of expectation on upcoming projects and if they delay more than a year, people call it a scam or even dump it to move to another project for a quick profit. This is the usual expectation by new crypto players.

Anyone else having problems with the mobile miner? When I click on start mining the app crashes and redirects me to the etn site... I have restarted my phone, but still the same thing happens.

P.S - the coins I had in pending have been sent to my wallet. Maybe you guys need to wait a bit longer.

I have the same problem. Usually, if I switch network, like from wi-fi to mobile data.
What works for me: when it crashes I click "check details" and then I follow the steps from their site. After that, i hit start mining again and it works.

Will Electroneum be looking for modifications like Monero?
And it seems still worth getting Giant Baikal because Electroneum is about 25% of CN hashrate.
