Honestly, I don't feel that you should call a person who believes in Bitcoin and has invested time, money, patience and nerves greedy. How would you call the ignorant people who are "staying away" and spread FUD even though they don't mean to do that? Would you bash them and insult them? No - it's simple, they are not ready for this kind of change. Hopefully people will get more educated about everything related to Crypto in the future and there will be less and less arguments and everyone can go their separate ways.

I think Bitcoin's greed can make you lose a lot of things. In contrast, if you are not greedy, if you know to save and keep it in the long run, you will get a lot of profit. Basically everyone has greed, but only some people can control it. Bitcoin is not greedy, it teaches us how to use and save money efficiently
I can't call holding as to being greedy because to hold is just being play safe about having to worry about loss. It just depends on anyone's strategy how to make their btc grow or earn. And also it depends on peole who likes to take risks. If you call holding as to being greedy then  can say that there are many people who are greedy.
I don't think it's seems to be greedy I think it is a good strategy and you wisdom to make it as a business or a good investment.  Though bitcoin is very volatile and nobody knows how the future of bitcoin is but all of us know that if there is no risk, then there will no gain. Bitcoin has no fixed price and one can invest any amount, and that invest in Bitcoin can increase or decrease in value within the matter of days.

I believe greed has a moral consequence that needs to be assess, meaning is your act of holding bitcoin coming at the expense of others?

People save money, therefore hold money, to spend on things in the future. The concept of investing is built around the idea that a dollar invested is worth tomorrow than it is today. Is this greed? I don't think so.

I think greed needs to come with a negative consequence. What do you think?

It's not being greedy, it's being practical and smart. Necause bitcoin is very volatile, people holds their bitcoin to gain more profit from and turn it into an asset. But bitcoin price is way too risky ,holders aren't sure in the profit that they can earn. So, we can't say that holding bitcoin is being greedy.

Holding bitcoin is not greedy, it's just being smart about what you have right now, because bitcoin is volatile, they hold it to gain more profit.

Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?

Nah, why it would be greedy? Is likely smart than greedy.

If you own Bitcoin I dont think it can be called greedy for holding it, as opposed to? giving it away? or selling it on to someone else? If you own it you own it.

Greedy for me is when you sell your bitcoin by low price because of your emotion that bitcoin is only a bubble and dont regret someday because of that and holding is not greedy but holding is the smart way to get more money in your future.

No holding bitcoin is not greedy. It is a strategy to earn more. Remember that this is business. You need to make a good or big income to make your business stable. And holding it is like saving money. People saves money for their future. So we save bitcoin for our future and security. It is smart kind of saving like a gold.  Because everytime its value may increase and there is a possibility that you double up your money. We all know that saving bitcoin is hard specially when you are have many things to pay but you need to hold it for your dreams and future.

For me holding bitcoin is like saving your money. There is nothing wrong with that. Greed is not sharing what you have.

It is safe to say that everyone has the right to hold their Bitcoins or not if they wish so. But on the other hand it was designed for global circulation and holding may hinder its purpose.

Well it's ones choice to hold bitcoin or use it. It's their rights because it is their bitcoin so If in ones point of view it greedy well maybe in others point of view it's being wise. If they end up on nothing in the end it's the consequence of their action and every decision have it's own consequence. But for me it's their right to hold their bitcoin but it will be better if the bitcoin will be used and folllow the cycle.

Holding bitkoyna during the period of growth of its value, this, in my opinion, is quite logical and there is no manifestation of some greed. If during the period of a sharp rise in price of bitcoins to sell bitcoins, this will not be a sign of generosity, but a sign of stupidity.

I think that holding bitcoin is not greedy because I beleive that holding bitcoin is for a long and good investment. it’s something that you can look forward to, retirement perhaps. Bitcoin is business so holding this is just like having a business growing as time goes by.

I think no if you just  holding bitcoin and wait until the price of bitcoin rising occurring it's not a selfish, in my recommendation selfish is joined to you don't sell your coin  when the price is reaches your prediction and create a auxiliary prediction. Its makes you see grasping because of it.

I don't think that holding bitcoin is greedy. An individual who's aspirant on become rich someday should not be thrifty. Bitcoin is a matter of investment just like in stocks. If you maintain your bitcoin in your wallet for a long term, it could increase or decrease because one does not know when bitcoin would reach their margin and decrease.

That would mean that holding or saving money for yourself is also a sign of greed because bitcoin like other currencies are also there to be craved for and people all walks of life would like to earn more of money which ever the type.

For me it's better to hold Bitcoin much longer even though the price of Bitcoin has increased considerably. Smiley
