I think the word `greedy` won't fit for someone who holds bitcoin. Its a way of keeping a belonging that might be useful for the future need of an individual, and also this can be a strategy for them.Basically its atural for the holder of bitcoin to keep it for a short time since its value is high, and mostly of bitcoin holder also think about it.Besides you cant expect someone to hold it forever.

Holding Bitcoin is sort of greedy thats true in my opinion. People expect huge returns and therefore arent willing to spend their Bitcoin, but we need to keep in mind that BTC cant perform this way forever. On top of that it is contrary to the idea of Bitcoin. Bitcoin was invented to serve as a decentralized digital currency and therefor as a means of payment and not as a store of value. I hope that at some point people will start using Bitcoin in the way it was supposed to be used. Only then cryptocurrencies will be ready for daily usage and therefore mainstream adoption. But to be honest I think that this might need some more years to happen.

Why do you think that bitcoin is held by a greedy person? If I invest in bitcoin, then I'm greedy? I do not think so. I invest and expect dividends. Does this mean everyone who keeps bitcoins greedy? I do not know.

i don't think this is a greedy behavior because some of people want to hold it until another folk coming and some people is a true fans in bitcoin ,
What? greedy? Think about yourself. Choose a strategy and stick with it. Holding bitcoin, I consider to be smartness rather than from greediness. Since it is the best way to make out a huge amount of profit as the currency is quite volatile and its potential to grow up to enormous heights enable investors to get there desired profit...

Its still not enough for our security but Im aiming for that value I wish to have for my future. As I Know that Ive reached it Its now the time to sell all BTC Im holding. So, I should say That its not being greedy but being an optimistic PErson that will have no worries financially in the future.

Holding a small amount of bitcoin isnt greed, but giving up everything for bitcoin and not even knowing what a cryptocurrency is, and expecting to make a fortune is when you can call a person greedy. At the end of the day, who doesn't need money? We all strive for it daily. Holding bitcoin is just a way to ease things up a bit. In the process you'll also gain tremendous amount of knowledge on the current market systems. Just educate yourself beforehand on what a bitcoin is. Happy trading! Cheers!

Holding bitcoin is not what you called "Greed". Infact they are wise thinker. They hold it for future purposes. People who holds bitcoin for a long time is in the cryto industry for a long time so they do know how to use it and save it for their own good its like you are saving your future for that and that is not greed.

Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin? We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse". So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?
no it's not! your holding your bitcoin because your waiting for the right time and right value (higher value) before you sell it to earn huge profit. You are greedy in bitcoin if you deceit or scam people for the sake of bitcoin.

Not at all. If people can hold stocks and bonds for five to ten years , then I don't see any crime in holding bitcoins as an investment instrument to be consider as been greedy.

Greed has nothing to do with the desire and ability to make money. If the hold allows you to do this, then you must do it.

Ofcourse no, everyone has their own target when they will sell their bitcoin and they will hold until the target is reached. Holding is just a strategy to investment, if you believe the value will go up then you will wait before selling it. You also have to set a logical target to prevent yourself from the "greed" of holding too long and ends up with nothing.

Though money is involve it will not be a greed or thirst for great profit, you buy or acquire it in the first place to hold and make an income, so as most people say in this, you acquire your profit because it belongs to only you, greediness only occurs when someone also wants to have what do not belong to them. True one must set a logical target to sell his/her btc so that he she could control him/herself and stay track and not end up loosing what he/she held for a long time.

Yes that's exactly what i do if have a potential altcoin. It must be keep it, half of the amount coin or just sell it in a nice offer. I don't see anything about greedy because that is part of your expection to meet the sell amount that we wanted. This is exclusively for the people having generously one account earnings but for those people having many altcoin, you are pertinently belongs to greedy.

Holding is about achieving what you want and it is not greed it is about what you desired. Holding a bitcoin is a wise choice because by holding your bitcoin is like you are just waiting for the fish to click the bait then poof you just gained profit.

I don't think it is greedy. It is merely similar to holding on to your property. You only sell your property when you want to or when you have to, and it is entirely up to an individual when to do so. In crypto, holding Bitcoin is because you believe in the product and in its long term value, not because you don't want other people to get a share of it.
