I love mining this coin. While it is not the most popular I think that it will gain popularity with time. Alot of these cryptocurrencies are still dormant, I love their new logo, a fresh start for a great year. But after the bear market I expect some fireworks. And florin coin is one of them to be in.

I literally just downloaded FLO Core version v0.15.0.1-ed98fa9 (64-bit) for Windows from the flo.cash website. What's going on? Why is the website serving me an obsolete wallet?

This one from the ANN OP gives old info in the About window too: FLO Core version v0.15.0.1-ed98fa9 (64-bit) Let's hope it's just a faulty About box!

Thank you for the bug report dgmon, it seems you're correct, the file names are inaccurate and the About pane in the QT client is indeed wrong. We can release an update to fix this shortly.

Segwit activation tracker https://segwit.flo.cash/Once it gets activated, FLO will have support for: * Instant Payments (Lightning-fast blockchain payments without worrying about block confirmation times.) * Scalability (Capability of millions to billions of transactions per second across the network.) * Low Cost (Capability for micro transactions) * Cross Blockchains (Cross-chain atomic swaps can occur off-chain instantly)

If you operate a mining pool then please update to the latest version of FLO, version 0.15.0.3: https://github.com/floblockchain/flo/releasesIf you're mining on a pool then please contact the administrator and kindly request they upgrade their software to the latest version of the code. From what I can tell these pools have yet to upgrade: - https://flo.suprnova.cc/69- https://aikapool.com/flo/34- http://italyiimp.com/explorer/FLO29- https://flo.thecoin.pw/65Please upgrade ASAP! Block explorers updatedThere is an update on the testnet and mainnet explorers. I have done some maintenance on both and they are up and running 100% again. They've also been upgraded to the latest 0.15.0.3 versions. Feel free to check them out here: https://florincoin.infohttps://testnet.florincoin.infoTODO: move to our new domain DNS seed & full nodes updateThe seed nodes flodns.oip.li and flodns.oip.fun have been hard at work reindexing our full nodes listed around the world. If you'd like to support the network then please also add these addresses manually to the flo.conf configuration file. addnode=193.70.122.58 addnode=nyc2.entertheblockchain.com addnode=sf1.entertheblockchain.com addnode=am2.entertheblockchain.com addnode=sgp.entertheblockchain.com addnode=ind.entertheblockchain.com addnode=de.entertheblockchain.com

Florin is a long-term project, the wealth of the world is concentrated in the hands of a small number of people, from ancient times to the present day, it is highly unrealistic to expect the mechanisms for a brilliant future.

I have been following FLO for quiet some time. I really liked the rebranding efforts and was quiet impressed. i am wondering how it will make itself scalable , low cost etc hope it does not take 5 years

There are a few reports of users unable to find peers on the 0.15 client. We have an idea as to why this is this case. If your client is having trouble finding peers, please find your recent debug.log output and post it here, or send it to me in a private message. As usual you can also join telegram for additional support: https://t.me/floblockchainWe've spent a lot of time setting up infrastructure for 0.15 with nodes around the world. We've also updated our DNS seed nodes as well. The node list in the OP could be added to flo.conf but should not be necessary considering the node count returned from our DNS seed nodes is adequate for syncing the chain. joey@joey-linux:~$ nslookup flodns.oip.li Server: 127.0.0.53 Address: 127.0.0.53#53

Hi,
This coin is awesome and we are just happy to include Florin coin to blazepool as well.
Besides the normal way in mining through specifying a stratum address, our pool also help track & mine the most profitable coin under a basket of coins in a range of algorithms in real time, and at the end auto-exchange to BTC for your payout
Please feel free to try if you like. Enjoy!! ;-)

Hi,
This coin is awesome and we are just happy to include Florin coin to blazepool as well.
Besides the normal way in mining through specifying a stratum address, our pool also help track & mine the most profitable coin under a basket of coins in a range of algorithms in real time, and at the end auto-exchange to BTC for your payout
Please feel free to try if you like. Enjoy!! ;-)

Hey Blazepool team, Can you verify you're running the 0.15 version of the FLO software? Thank you

He mentioned it briefly, but it's very interesting if we could get more info. I remember Patrick Byrne announced their partnership with counterparty in 2014 and the price of xcp moved very high. I don't want to sound cliche but why Flo is not priced in the dollars already based on this news alone baffles my mind let alone the on going development of this coin, alexandria, as well as being able to build apps on top of Flo etc. Can you verify you're running the 0.15 version of the FLO software? Thank you
You might be aware already, but just thought t I would mention that Bittrex seems to still have the old logo of florincoin and possibly other places too, might confuse newcomers.
