The only right advice in my opinion is not to hurry up and first of all invest in your education. The fact is that without knowledge, you will most likely lose your money and make mistakes at the most responsible moment.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

For example, I advise all newcomers. More to sit on forums and read information. Before you start investing. A lot of knowledge will never interfere with any beginning business.

Always make your own decisions when it comes to money. All the information that you will ever need is on this forum. You need to do your own research to see which projects are good enough for you to give up your money. If you ask for advice, you will only receive information about the offset.

My main advice - before the start of investment, you always need to carefully study the specifics of the ICO project, assess the potential, technology and strategy for the development of a particular project. In fact now the quantity of swindlers and unsuccessful projects has considerably grown, therefore it is necessary to concern responsibly to the investments.

Including read the opinions of experts and participants, information about technology, development strategy and the finished product.

Life in this world is a great struggle and for that matter they shouldn't expect something big on the start, it really takes time for things to happen over here. Just concentrate on your work, research and learn more about cryptocurrency, invest in some ICO's if possible. With hard work and perseverance you could make it big one day.

The main idea for new participants of the crypto market is to read and study the specifics of different projects more. Before investing, you need to be completely confident in the prospects for a specific altcoin. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully study information about developers, technologies and further development strategies.

As a beginner i think you should not invest huge money at early stage you need to experience first on how to trade and learn how it will works, and dont forget to read some shares of best trader in this forum and learn and follow their strategy and when you feel that you are now confident to trade with that is a sign that you invest money and start to earn profit.

Firstly, it is to keep funds in different wallets. Thoroughly check projects, as it may be a scam. Do not make investments for a large amount

Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers
I think you are an investor who is good at taking advantage of the opportunity to invest the most important belief and patience that can make what we invest will be an expected benefit of course

I have give you only one advice first learn about crypto currency and market don't be panic for big shot ...Give some to this world.

And let me add one thing here: being the beginner, do not even start to deal with the day trading now. Invest in 10-17 altcoins and Bitcoins and wait a bit, holding them for the time of the bull run.

Agree with yokai21, you should certainly continue learning, monitoring the market and analyzing the situation. Before buying crypto, buy a hardware wallet for storing. Mind that there are different ways to make a deposit. The exchange service CEX has lately relaunched wire transfers and now offers bonuses: https://cex.io/wires-campaign/

For newbies before you place money on cryptcurrencies, the most important thing to know is to understand risk, as we know that the crypto market is like a roller coaster so you understand the risk, so you are not surprised.
