It's been a very bad day to trade altcoins, most of them lost more than 15%.
Considering this, I'm happy of my -2.44% after all.
Today I only have BCC. I want to check first if bitcoin's race is taking a breath or it is going straight to $8,000.

With the recent bitcoin uptrend movements, all altcoin gonna get rekt and shit altcoin Will going head to 1 sat. It's a bad time to trade altcoin, there is big money going to bitcoin.

May i know what strategy you use to determine your trades? Do you have stop loss and take profits level?

Always with a take profit. I'm not sure how to set a stop loss on bittrex though.

What are you doing when BTC go up and altercoins all goes down? Just w8ing or sell and buy lower or just sell?

When bitcoin is going a bit up, I don't mind. There are opportunities to make some satoshis even if the price is going down. You need to catch the few occasion that the price is correcting up.
When bitcoin is going up like in last 2 days, there's nothing you can do, you need to accept a loss and start a new day with the right mindset.

I dont think its good to trade bcc now it will dump more soon. How about trading in LSK or ZEC.

I think that LSK and ZEC are good coins to trade. I don't think that BCC has a high price right now. I strongly believe that, together with bitcoin, it is the best investment at this price.
My opinion is that BTC will close the 2017 over $10,000 and BCC over $1,000.
But this has nothing to do with trading, so I stop here

With the news about ripple partnering with american express as an entry point for them to get into blockchain technology. Your stash of ripple must soon to be going up.
Even if the other alt coins are getting 'rekt' as one poster put it due to the bitcoin price going up quite rapidly.

I don't think that BCC has a high price right now.

We all know that the recent climb of Bitcoin Cash is due to the failed attempt to unseat Bitcoin in the #1 spot meaning it was just pumped by a group so expect that BCC price will continue to drop in the next coming days specially now that Bitcoin is near or passed $8,000, its not a good day to trade alts regardless if you are a day trader or not.

From 0.1 bitcoin to 1 Bitcoin in 6 months with day trading is sounds good and the strategy which is given is quiet welcomed in this forum. Nothing is impossible if your strategy works well and find lot of people will accept and try the same there is no doubt about it. We are waiting for your results to follow the same.

How are you going right now? were you able to make some profit from bitcoin cash? a lot of daily traders took advantage of it and made some bucks from the high volatility of it. I have been trading with it for a while, but i stopped because i lost some bucks cause it dropped a lot.
but it is a bad time for altcoin trading, just wait a bit until most of them recover again, a lot of altcoins are now bleeding because bitcoin has been increasing a lot.
If you decide to join lisk right now, you are going to earn a lot, it might be going to reach ten dollars by tomorrow.

I think you cannot do this alone. Try asking for some help or partners because Altcoins are starting to decrease in value (except eth) and the tendency of having a small amount of coin in different alts is very prone to not earning.

actually what we need is the exchange rate to our country's currency, if you have 0.1 btc with rate 7000$, suddenly the btc price drops to 500 $, even if you get 1 btc, financially you still lose..   but if it's just for the challenge and have fun it's okay ..

This is very sort sighted way to look at this. As we are on bitcoin forum, it is acceptable to think that bitcoin is the secure one in long term even if it fluctuates. Personally, I don't think anything is really save, but it's making more sense to calculate these altcoin trades in bitcoins. After all, you are not supposed to use any money you need on daily basis.

Hello everyone.
I appreciate your suggestions to leave altcoins (especially BCC, lol), but as I mentioned in a previous post, I have my investment in Bitcoin in the long run, this thread is about a very different topic.
Yesterday it's been a good day, I took BCC at 13960000 and get out at 15490000. I knew it had the potential to go higher than that, but I didn't want to push it too much.
I have also decided to change a bit my approach to the market. Yesterday, in my opinion BCC was a sure thing and actually, even if bitcoin price almost hit $8000, BCC almost hit 0.17 (from 0.139 that was the price in the morning). This made me think that probably it is better to trade only altcoins that I consider good, leaving alone the so called shitty-coins 
So, every day, I'm going to write a list of alt-coins that I consider good, balancing value and current price. Then I will take at most 4 of them for my day-trading.
So far, I'm happy with the results, +0.00057776BTC in a period in which Bitcoin has gone from $6500 to $7800, but I think that this will be an improvement of the initial strategy.

if you bought BTX last week or before monday 12th, you could get it around 150k sats/BTX
and it reached 700k sats yesterday, right now it's about 450k~500k sats...
imagine that, 0.1 BTC ~ 66.6 BTX (@150k) then sold @500k ~ 0.333 BTC
you could've made 3x in a week and more if you do your trading stuff by hourly

I didn't expect the price would skyrocketed that high, bought @96k and sold @140k last week
when it was at 200k~300k I didn't have the guts to re-buy, because I never thought it would go over 500k
so now I'm waiting for the right time to re-buy, it seems dropping in price right now
I am still guessing/deciding at what price I should buy back BTX and HODL it

Day trading and gambling is the one that gives the increased earning access. Here too user needs the luck for such an earning of 0.1 to 1btc in six months time. If the user's prediction about the particular asset coincides, profiting is possible. So, day trading is uncertain, it's our goodness to learn and make the best out of it.

I'm going to start a trading journal. My goal is to reach 1 BTC starting from 0.1 (a bit less), trading altcoins with a short-term outlook.
I'm a professional trader and, even if cryptocurrency is a new world to me, I have decided to dedicate 6 months to test this market with a small amount.
If I succeed, I will include cryptocurrency in my investment portfolio and I will publish my strategy.
