Well that's expected. Nobody dares to keep really big money in CLAMs because any altcoin may collapse much easier than the BTC whose market valuation is in US$ billions. Not enough money in CLAM => not enough big bets.

I took the site down for 4 minutes to do a little database maintenance before adding a feature.

The site now shows investors how their profit is split between winning from losing players and staking blocks.

Yes, "bankroll profit" is from players losing, "staking profit" is from staking new blocks, and "invest profit" is the sum of those two.

bitcoind, and hence clamd get slower the more transactions you have in the wallet. Since we've staked 150,000 times and each of these counts as a transaction, the wallet was starting to take up a lot of CPU time. I moved the wallet offsite and made a new one. So deposits to old addresses are no longer credited automatically. I also made a new xJDCLAMZ... address for staking and updated the FAQ accordingly.

The wallet change was unrelated to the update that shows the two separate profit numbers. It's just something I need to do occasionally.

I added another feature today - the chat moderators can update a 'news' report that is shown in the box in the top right of the page. The idea is that it mentions what has happened on the site recently and was prompted by the large number of people coming into the chat tab this morning and saying "wow, what happened to the profit?"...

Thanks also for posting the picture of the cam girl.  In chat, everyone was accusing her of not knowing how to spell, I think scabby even changed his name to scabby-winnere but looking closely now I see the misspelling with the extra e is really an @ and the chat was being a bit unfair to the cam girl.

I'm not sure it's worth the effort to go back and try to work out "what would have happened" - because you'll never get it right. My investment would have diluted others' investments, meaning they earned less, and so would have had less to gamble with, etc.

I've set up a new account with a 100x multiplier and will just leave it alone. I won't repeat the "/offsite max" at all, I'll just let it ride.

Remind me in a few weeks to post the results if I didn't do it already.

Note that I haven't changed the /offsite setting for the 100x account at all; I've just let it ride.

Its offsite amount is now only 90.97x. That's to be expected - the offsite amount hasn't changed while the onsite amount has grown, and so the total (offsite+onsite) is now only 91 times the onsite amount, where it used to be 100 times.

I'll update these stats again. I still didn't change the /offsite amount for the 100x account, and now it's at 82.72x.
