** What is Dual Hash Mining **
After March 24th, we will offer dual-hash mining with rewards in both BBP+XMR. This is slightly different than merged mining, in that BBP's blocks are now solved with an equation that prevents pre-image attacks.
In theory, you will receive approximately 190% more revenue for mining (more specifically, 90% in XMR rewards, and 100% of your hashpower in BBP rewards), while still contributing 10% to orphan charity.
Each randomx hash has a full 100% chance of solving a BBP block (or a pool share), while each randomx hash still has an equal chance of solving an XMR share.
This will theoretically attract an unlimited amount of XMR miners to BiblePay.

Got my internet hooked back up today. First thing I did was download the new wallet to update both my clients. After installing, both are acting like brand new wallets with no transactions. Copied over backup wallet.dat files and still acting like new installs. Quick question, when the client asks to use the default location or the one in the user app_data (in the specify destination option) is that the same location? Because the only thing I can think of is if it moved the location it is looking for the wallet.dat file from the previous installs location.
Nevermind...I just needed to read a few posts above....will try that.
yup..that fixed it.

Remember everyone that the default location is changing from biblepay-evolution to biblepay If you are upgrading, that may complicate your upgrade slightly. I have a section in this article about changing the data directory: https://whitewalr.us/2019/run-multiple-copies-biblepay.html#Change_data_directory_for_BiblePay_2If warranted after support questions, I will make a dedicated blog post. Been busy with personal stuff and now covid-19 my free time is mostly gone.

Hey Rob, is there a possibility of getting a BBP<->GRC pairing on SouthXchange?

good idea! And the other thought is probably BBP <-> XMR with the upcoming mandatory.

Hey Rob, is there a possibility of getting a BBP<->GRC pairing on SouthXchange?
So I spoke to SX today regarding the two new pairs, and they made me aware that to pair a non-standard ticker to BBP as a base is not as "easy" as we assume. (A standard pair would be something like ETH->BBP or BTC->BBP, but XMR->BBP is a non-standard base). So to qualify as a base pair, the other ticker (GRC or XMR) has to meet certain guidelines. Unfortunately neither meet the guidelines at this time. So the status is: GRC->BBP is not possible at this time XMR->BBP may be possible soon I asked them to keep us notified as soon as XMR->BBP might be possible and explained why, since we will be liquidating a lot of XMR in the future with our new mining rewards plan and orphan liquidation plan (in XMR). GRC is not possible I assume because of the low volume (to be a base pair). XMR is close, but they don't consider it a base yet.

I'm going to create a faucet for new RandomX miners this coming week. I think it will go something like this:
- RandomX miner creates an account on forum.biblepay.org - Makes a post in the mining thread with their new BBP address - We pay the reward from that thread
I'll give more when its ready.
If possible, I might add a bbp-reward-id to the biblepaycore client soon; this will ensure a new RX miner syncs from the core first.

Since you already have the data, you can do one of two things: 1) move your biblepayevolution folder data to biblepay folder 2) point your custom data to biblepayevolution folder I recommend #1 so everyone is on biblepay folder going forward. if you don't have 10GB on your hard drive, you should erase other files you do not need (not biblepay).

When trying to run the new wallet installer from Biblepay.org, I get an error:
Installer integrity check has failed.
Also a question about the new dual mining, is it required to use the CLI miner or does the new wallet dual mine as well? Thanks!

What is your current RAC at WCG and how long has it been since you reported results? Also, how long has your account been created at WCG?
