Hi.
I recently saw the notice to update the wallet to version 1.4.2.

I downloaded the wallet from the official magnet site. Windows x64 version.
The guide said to just run it, it never said anything about deleting the old version.

I ran it, and while syncing, the processing got stuck on a block, and never continued to download
the blockchain or update.

So, I moved my wallet.dat file OUT of the appdata/roaming/magnet wallet, onto a temp directory onto my desktop.
I then deleted the entire magnet wallet directory out of appdata/roaming/magnet.

I then unzipped the new download file again, and double clicked the magnet-qt.exe file.
The wallet installed, then started to sync.
Then, I closed the wallet.
I went into appdata/roaming/magnet directory, and removed the new wallet.dat file that the fresh install created.
I then moved my old wallet.dat file into this directory.

I restarted the new install of magnet wallet version 1.4.2.

The blockchain just completed download a few minutes ago.
I did have a balance of 164.xx magnet.
Now, even with my original wallet.dat file, that balance is NOT showing up in the wallet.

When I click on transactions in the new wallet, it says this:

Status: conflicted
Date: 3/26/2018 06:28
Total debit: -164.62024478 MAG
Total credit: 164.62024478 MAG
Transaction fee: -0.0002 MAG
Net amount: -0.0002 MAG
Transaction ID: 55357e971cdcdfa3065eb64cab7a32eafb508ba99e2910f3965996baf8b140cb-000

A few days ago, when I was on the old wallet, I sent all of my inputs back to myself, so they would show up as one input under coin control.
That was confirmed days ago.
Now, since I've upgraded to the new version of wallet, and re-downloaded the new blockchain, with my original wallet.dat file from the old wallet,
it shows this, and my balance does not show up in the wallet.

Magnet dev team, what do I do to fix this?
I don't want to lose those coins.

Do you have any other backup of the original wallet.dat that you have before you installed the updated version of the wallet? It would also be best if you use the repair wallet command in the console of the wallet. I'm not really sure on what are the steps that you should take to resolve the issue that you are having right now but more often than not, what I suggested above fix it. I will also encourage you to join their Discord channel. The people there are very helpful and I think the dev is also an active member in that channel.

Use repairwallet command. Go to Help > Debug Window > Console Tab, type repairwallet

Cryptopia took about 4 months to list the coin, not bad I guess, wonder if most of the volume will stay over at coinexchange though?

Thank goodness for cryptobridge and very small exchanges like coinexchange though right?

Cryptopia also asked huge amount of payment so that they will be able to list MAG and fortunately, the dev and community has that amount to pay for it. It is a good thing that we are added to another huge exchange. It will provide more avenue for trading volume and provide more awareness to other people that doesn't know about it.

Well, as you mentioned, the only downside right now is that BTC's price is really in tanking mode and this surely affects the price of almost all altcoins including MAG. Hopefully, we'll be able to go back to those ATH once BTC settled and starts again its another bull run.

Magnet will be worth 10USD until the end of the year for sure, just let the dev execute the script and soon the currency will rise and the masternode will return to have decent ROI.
