A Litecoin clone? Or is that a Bitcoin clone? In fact MΣC is a hybrid that was specifically designed to be superior to both of them. If you were so knowledgeable, you would understand this! You have been proven wrong every single step of the way, and have a predilection for showing up when your points are the least credible. The reward scheme of Megacoin was also a work of genius, because it recruited only the best hand picked team that Kimoto could find. We are building on this success, and spending the profits on hiring even better talent for even more advanced projects. All built around MΣC. The most precision, digital engine yet designed for cryptography. Megacoin was designed like a Swiss watch, both in timing, and execution. It is pure excellence compared to anything that existed either before it, or at this point in time. There was absolutely no pre-mine. It was a fair launch that was announced in advance. Any fool could mine them with a laptop, which many of us did. Downloaded the Bitcoin blockchain lately. How about those 1 hour transactions. Nice huh? And yet, a 0 confirmation bitcoin transaction is magnitudes more secure than a 1 confirmation megacoin transaction... And a 2, 3, 4, 5, etc confirmation megacoin transaction, for that matter. You are profoundly ignorant on the subject, that is for sure. Funny how that works, huh? You goons probably don't even know what I'm talking about. The kool-aid is strong in here. You guys are absolutely fucking ridiculous.

This is your most worthless point yet lol. Of course BTC is more secure right now because it has a 1000x larger hashing network. But MEC is still growing and the network hash rate is as well. The larger it grows the more secure it becomes. With that said, the difference in security between in MEC and BTC is irrelevant since neither can be broken.

I guess you must have sold all your MΣC when the rest of the lemmings panicked? The bigger question is why would someone spend so much energy on something they thought was worthless? How about using some logic here? What is it that you don't understand, and need explained?

To be honest, I think most of us mined some random crapcoins. Mostly on the hope they would turn into something worthwhile, or because they were more profitable at the time, and allowed us to buy the coins we wanted even faster. We are now in a period of consolidation into quality, this is where Megacoin will really shine.

You do realize that you can do other things besides selling? I haven't sold any MEC for a quite some time, if I'm not mistaken. I've given out more than I should have.

I'm throwing this one out there for Mr. Knowitall. http://www.cryptonerd.co/2) Bitcoin code is still largely the same way it was a month ago. "Bitcoin is still slow to confirm. Its algorithm is still arbitrary and made by the Department of Defense. If you don’t believe in using algorithms with a scientific purpose, then you should at least acknowledge that the Scrypt algorithm isn’t made by the Department of Defense, and is many, many times more secure and difficult than SHA-256. It is therefore more difficult to centralize mining power around one rich source."

Come back when MΣC is selling for more than Bitcoin. $1 is only a short term target.

Come back when MΣC is selling for more than Bitcoin. $1 is only a short term target. I know it is and i hope it goes way past $1 but lets be realistic here. A lot of people are holding numbers into the 100k of MEC, its inevitable that a lot will be dumped once we reach that dollar.

A lot of people are holding numbers into the 100k of MEC, its inevitable that a lot will be dumped once we reach that dollar. a lot of people did this with litecoin when it hit $3.50 first time I know I did, then bought back in, held , dumped at $.50 finally had enough at $10, as that was my price, in other words I felt it was overpriced in my heart at that now clearly I was wrong as has gone to $20+ point being there are only going to be 42 million megacoins, when you see what is happening in the community you would be falling over to buy and not sell for years. its THAT good strong hands or weak hands, different people will sell at different prices. some day trade, some hold for long haul if you sell you may never get back in, unless willing to sit in front of a computer screen 24/7
