I think honestly, Bitcoin has the potential to, not literally, but replace USD for most used currency. Over time, if crypto-currencies aren't removed to some massive error, or anything else, It would be awesome to see digital currencies replace phisical money overall.
Think About it, (all positive statements+)
1 anonymously buy and sell
2 ZERO money printing costs
3 Easier and more reliable payments online
4 Secure and more anti-theft than dollar bills or coins
5 You Can back up your bitcoin wallet, just in case. If you lose bills or coins....they're gone
If they did replace all physical money with digital currencies, here's what I think Would happen: (could be positive - or negative + statements)
1 Government would try to interfere minimally, in some way so they profit (goes without saying) (-)
2 Economy EVERYWHERE would BOOM due how easy it would be to send and receive money (In my oppinion way easier than paypal, western union, ect.) (+)
3 Old money would be slightly more valuable due to printing stop (+)
4 Internet usage would rise, meaning advertising more effective, ect. (+)
5 Also, less or more taxes (+/-)
I want to know what you think of my ideals
