It might go back to $100-200.

One can hope, it'd make them more affordable for the average person.
And terrible for everyone else owning substantial amounts of BTC.

I don't think that 100k will be reach...
Imagine, you could get 50 btc every 10 min at the beginning with a laptop.

50 btc at 100k = 5 million $ lol

Nobody actually knows what's possible or not possible, outside of the range of between $0.00 and the value of all the combined currency in the world.

I'll say nothing is impossible.

No one in the whole world (I doubt even Satoshi) didn't expect btc to reach $1000.

In the future, some currencies might just go down and countries might just use btc as their main currency.

If that happens, then bitcoin value will skyrocket.

Amusing reading this thread in December 2013. After the price has already exceeded the USD1k mark, even if that price is substantially lower for the time being.  It is certainly going to be interesting observing upcoming changes in value over the next new months. Always a challenge and a certain amount of inherent uncertainty when trying to make economic observations of a global currency and take macroeconomic factors into considering. Maybe if I keep typing mundane and no doubt unwanted observations like this that add nothing of value to the discussion then one day I will meet this websites requirements to be able to post in the wider community. I truly look forward to the day when I can ask someone how on earth I 'sign a transaction' when sending BTC using electrum, and why this feature wasn't advertised. Had I known about this I would have stuck with Bitcoin Qt so I'm not spending literally a dozen hours on my weekend to try to find someone who can help me figure out how to use this software. Don't mean to be so passive aggressive, but not really how I wanted to spend my weekend, obvious these anti-spam measures are useful, and no doubt it's my own stupidity that led me to getting my funds stuck in a client I don't understand in the first place.

Welp I'm going to wander off and cry for a while now and maybe when I come back in a few hours I will finally be able to ask someone how to access my shiny gold coins. Also what is a paragraph?
