Within a year or two, I think. With the caveat it might also drop to zero.

I agree, if bitcoin doesn't fail and drop to $0, it will absolutely reach $1000, and almost certainly reach $10,000.

It's almost there.

531 USD is still intraday.

Let's call a huge sell-off if we get back to 400

Down to 600 from 900 in minutes is certainly impressive and interesting.

I call BUY at this new level of 600 but to me it could be back to 400 within 6 hours or up to 1500 USD that I would not be that surprised.

Real value of bitcoin is impossible to know. It will depend on the scale of its adoption worldwide and it's anyone's guess.

If bitcoin would handle 1% of the world transactions, it would need a valorisation of about 1 trillion usd, putting one out of 12 000 000 bitcoin at about 85 000 USD.

It's all hypothetical at this stage but one thing is sure, the banking system has lived. It's done.

Yes, Yes Yes... That day almost happened today, lol.  Bitcoin stock soared today to a high of $898 (so far)... The hype surrounding the currency is not showing signs of weakening either.  I currently hold shares in bitcoin which i opened around $300. Many times i thought the bubble was going to break and almost hedged or sold, glad i havent.  Been getting up to date industry news and chart data from bitcoinprices.info there are a few good resources out there, guess we need to just keep watching and see what happens, i dont see an end in sight yet, could we see $2000??? BTC

The gold rush is more of a precedent here than people will admit, in all ways, including the economics.
