The price of bitcoin is now far from so high even relative to the rate it showed in December. Today it is obvious that bitcoin and other crypto-currencies are seriously underestimated. This means that we will grow throughout the year with fluctuations and this applies to all crypto-currencies - the topic associated with this is becoming more popular and more and more people are getting involved in this process. This means that more interest in projects, more ICO, more market participants - which as a consequence always leads to complication, improvement of quality and price of goods (service) - coins ...

Bitcoin is the world's first cryptocurrency. Supply of bitcoin is limited, demand area is big. The only reason for the increase in the price of bitcoin is also. Bitcoin remains the first choice of people.

because the amount of supply that bitcoin is still available, but getting a little community of enthusiasts in the world against the bitcoin is getting bigger. This automatically makes the bitcoin's getting more expensive and the price goes up.

Today, the price of bitcoin is very small, given that recently the price of a bikkin was about $ 20,000, so the current price for bitcoin is very small and I think that we may not see such a price more

If we compare the behavior of the bitcoin rate today with the same time last year, then it is easy to draw parallels - in fact the noticeable growth of the rate and the subsequent rally were in November-December. This is the end of the year - all these actions reminded me of a similar situation with tulips just before they "crashed" at first sharply and highly went up. And then they fell down. The same thing with bitcoin - someone raised the price of a big investment (purchase) - then keeping it - sold everything and earned a lot of money for a couple of weeks. A great way to earn yourself gifts for loved ones for the New Year! Smiley

Its matter of investment we can say Law of demand, more demand prices go up.Most of Business tycoon and showbiz personalities are aware about Bitcoin and invest in it with high amount that's reason Bitcoin demand is high and supply is short so prices fluctuates.

Why would you re-ask this question yet again in the Altcoin forum section instead of the Bitcoin forum section ?

Honestly I am confused why people give these junk coins a very high prices, too high fees price and very long transaction are something that is not worth to be given a high price, Ethereum is more feasible.

Because that’s the price at which people are willing to sell bitcoin. There are more people wanting to buy than willing to sell.

It’s a market and that’s the market rate. As for the reasons there are more people wanting to buy, that’s impossible to say.

It's all a matter of supply and demand.
You can see more and more people investing in ICOs and paying with bitcoin.

A good habit is to look at ICO reviews & ratings before investing.

https://cryptorated.com/ico-reviews/ is a great place to start!

Hello,

Im new in crypto and have a question (a stupid one).. I never really gave it much though and now i wonder.

Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

Cheers Smiley
Bitcoin is the original one in this world that is accepted by major folks.
In this digital worlds, people is the major fortune of any altcoins. As long as the people use and accept it, that is the major fortune for BTC to reach this price.
