Maybe you need to be secure in your wallet key or dont give your private key to others to avoid hacking.
You need also unique password to some wallet to also avoid hacking.
Check all site that you are logging in because there are some fake sites.

This incident happened to me. My wallet was hacked and I lost my coins. I am wondering how did it happened. Then I realized than I opened my wallet through link on slack. We have to be careful. Yes you are right, some are just mimicking the unique site.

Utilize a paper wallet for capacity of Bitcoins. Truly there is no 100% trick verification method for ensuring your Bitcoins yet I surmise that utilizing a paper wallet might be the most secure or possibly close to the best. There is dependably that shot that you can have the keys traded off on the off chance that you create them in a way that enables others to see them

Use secure vpn when login to your bitcoin wallet and set your browser to incognito mode to stop browser add-ons from accessing your wallet private information.

Just one suggestion - Do not keep all your eggs in one basket.
Spread your BTC's across wallets and not just one.

Don't open malicious and suspicious sites and don't just click check first if the required fields are sketchy some are just phishing some important information that can lead to a certain loss of something that is important like bitcoin so be wary all the times mostly that it is digital..

Just yesterday I come across one youtuber where he says
he just wake up and saw his 50 btc was vanish from his exodus wallet  and also before that another 20 btc was vanish
he says he dont even know how this happen.

pls how can I escape this.

First, lost 20 bitcoins, then lost 50 bitcoins, in total of 70 bitcoins. What the f? Is this real or only a drama? I guess after you lose 20 bitcoins, you will not using that wallet again and will try to relocate your other bitcoins to another wallet, because you already know that your wallet ID is known by someone because of phising or storing its id information in a wrong place or hands. I feel sorry for that guy because of his lost. 70x 8000usd= 560.000 usd now, damn man.
It is indeed, the best way for now is to have cold storage, either you use harddrive wallet like trezor or ledger nano s, or using a laptop/pc that is installed with linux and you only use that laptop/pc for bitcoin only, and remember to disconnect it from the internet. But if the hacker got your account information including the private key, better transfer ur bitcoint to other wallet.

well I also experienced it though not as much as him.
I asked my brother why did that happen? then he replied maybe you opened a site containing spammy ads at that time I was opening MEW and I think he got my private key, I do not know how he got it.
so my advice is that you do not get hacked, when you're opening your wallet do not open another site that contains many ads and others like YT and others.

if you want to protect yourself from hackers maybe I can suggest to make a swallow directly from blockchain and secure the privat key you have and secure your email, because currently blockchain still can not be penetrated by the hackers.

It will not be gone if he didn't do something wrong. Most of the people that are experiencing this are the ones who click some malicious websites and asked for their information or some offered them "free" bitcoin by visiting the link. Those links are phishing links that will let you voluntarily input your information like private key and to be aware of this, you just don't input your private keys everywhere.

Make sure no one has access to your private key, share your ownership to a different wallet (with a different private key) just for the case of one wallet that started one day hack. And keep it in a safe place (eg paper wallet in bank safe). Do not allow your ownership in inventory.

The best way to secure your bitcoin, or any altcoin as well, is to store it in a hardware wallet. In this way you can say that it is your own. You have the private key, so it is virtually impossible to hack or steal it from you. It is advisable to invest in such hardware wallet. It is your money to be stored there so why not allocate some money to do so. This is very advisable if your investment is for long term. Just take care of it because if it is lost then your money will just go with the dust. Other thing to note is not to comment or post anything that is connected to your holdings. It is just like exposing your bank account to public. The website you have posted such information might be a phishing site and that might ne the last time you can see your investment my friend.

Keep your private key properly, then hide it on paper and hide it from the Internet. Do not let your bitcoin get in touch with the Internet. This increases the possibility of theft, and if you do both Your bitcoin is relatively safe.

I suggest that you put Bitcoin separately in different wallets. Do not put all bitcoin in a single wallet. Protect your private key, do not let anyone have a chance to know your private key. I suggest you can use the offline wallet. Smiley

Click on a link from another sites or group, this could be some dangerous. That's why securing the bitcoins actually exists on ourselves.
I use my computer for online access, I once found my computer was attacked by viruses and trojans, which is my antivirus report, the file is dangerous because it will steal my financial accounts. So the minimum I always open or use bitcoins for transactions through desktop computer that has been installed antivirus updates, because I do not really believe access via mobile phone based on the problem of this virus as well.

As you said hardware wallet is the best place for storing bitcoins so no one can steal our bitcoins.Software encrypted wallet is also best to store bitcoins but we have to take care of the private key if we lost that then everything will be lost.Never tell about your private key to anyone it is the only one way to steal your bitcoins and don't store your private key in computer or any online drive because hackers can hack it and use your wallets.

I doubt that you will convert any amount of your Bitcoin to real money and store it in a bank because maybe you are a long term investor. So the best way is that, you should never trust anyone or anything. Don’t just click links you even don’t know. Always be careful. Be wise enough to prevent those hackers.
