Good work!
Guess it should be stated that this is not a mandatory update (hardfork). The fix to the diff will be...da da dum.

How about converting to PoS with 2% yearly interest and developing a multipool that pays out in GLC thus catering to miners of any kind whilst offering buying support on exchanges?

I have grown to love this idea. Central banks target 2% inflation. There is likely a good reason to do so, plus as folks have stated, it rewards holders.

if you are hot for POS pure stakes? @2%? You'll need quick min. time to encourage constant staking ... say 4hrs. (or less) plus min. reward ( 1 GLC) I also suggest long Max. window ... say 90days. (so people can hold in cold storage too and stake 4 times/year) plus exponential 'weight' so long held coins move to the top of the 'wait' list to stake on the curve. but if 10000 GLC and 100 GLC are staking at 4hrs held. Both have basically the same weight, so it is a lottery open to all given no long held coins are staking.
---- wild card (i have not seen this code yet)
1. stay POW say flat reward (1%) 2. (if it is possible) the POW miners also find and reward addresses that have held GLOBAL for xx days without spending aka frozen funds. This is stakes without the staking, the POW miners do it. Possible?
Example ... address with 1000 GLOBAL held for 90days spends 0.1 GLC ... blockfinder notes this transaction and pays 'holding' reward POH
---- Moving to stakes can be done down the road, being ready for that move can be done now.

The longer the hold the longer the potential hold rewards?

Client updates cant be too far out. I think the devs are trying for two seperate updates.
