They should not be allowed to use the Global name. Bittrex should be contacted to stop them using the Global name in any way, unless it is for this particular coin. It doesn't matter that it has "(Globe)" next to it the actual term Global should not be allowed to be used. If they are allowed to use this name then anyone can start a new coin and name it Bitcoin. I strongly suggest that this is corrected quickly.

This coin needs to become more valuable. Dev needs to spend some time on it and people need to make some waves. If that happens then the other coin will be trashed.
Plus people can help. That is all I can say. Somebody will catch my drift.

Wow! I come back and people have pretty much killed the coin.... lol! It was not an accident that the price jumped way up. There was one or two people who saw what was going on and tried to help a little. I really can't say that I can blame you at all for blowing it out. This was not a coin that I mined. There is no way to mine it and come out ahead. I am a miner also, so I do understand. It was pretty obvious that the price was not going to stay up right away. The price of this coin would have doubled in price, umm (in my opinion) but it was obvious that people saw it going up and jumped on it instead of helping or waiting. Like I said, I DO understand. The device has just pretty much made everyone bagholders. Even some had faith in him and stuck by him from the beginning. This coin had potential. Everyone that has stuck it out could have made money. If someone is going to go to the trouble of making a pretty good coin then they should at least have someone to pass it off to. At least out of respect for those that stick by them. This post will probably get deleted because I tend to bash worthless devs. It will not be the first time.... lol. I don't know if it is even worth holding because of the other Globalcoin. It will flop like this one has probably. If the dev gets enough guts and can come back and will or can develop it further then send a message to me. I will keep my eyes open anyway. The price of this coin can rise in price quickly and under the right situation. What really would have been great is if the dev would have seen the price start climbing and at least say something in here to keep it going but he didn't have much time to see it going up.... lol but he was probably working another scam. If I am wrong about him then I apologize up front. If I was out of work or something then I would have enough time to put into a coin that I started to at least try to make some money there. Talk to you all later. You can normally tell that it is me because of the rambling lol, no matter what the name is. Happy Mining. 😊
BTW. I am going to hold mine just in case. It would not take a whole lot to get the coin up there if the pieces come together.

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

I know right, i tried to support, but my pockets are too meager. The good news is that are only 13,500 GLC coming online daily. That is only .015 btc daily at these levels.
Maybe in a month or two i will have two BTC to bust through the three hundreds.
That will take another million or so off the boards. There is 21 million or 1/3 of all GLC on Cryptsy. Hopefully peoplel are using it as a wallet as I am.
Otherwise, 2 year anniversary in 9 days with subsidy halving to 6,250 GLC in about 3 months.
Client work for implementation of Kimoto/Dark Gravity Well, subsidy reduction to 1 per block or 2160 a day, and possible pos hybridation.

OK great. Thank you. I see what you did. Tell me this, why use cryptsy as wallet instead of the regular wallet? What have I missed here?

Lazy/convenient It is basically the dumbest thing you can do, because of exchange failure and hacking risk, but i prefer it.

Is something wrong with the latest wallet?? I upgraded to it when it came up. Hey, also, https://comkort.com/ is going belly up...closing down. If anyone has coins there you better get them out asap!!!! Maybe this is old news but I have not traded there in a long time.

Bad news....tried to build the latest version from github on Linux and deleted the old binary before testing the new one. The new binary seems to run for two minutes and then it exits. The GLC pool at xpool.net is down until further notice for ref here are my Linux commands to build: globalcoin build: cd ~ sudo apt-get install build-essential sudo apt-get install libssl-dev sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev sudo apt-get install libdb4.8++-dev
sudo git clone git://github.com/CryptoParts/GlobalCoin.git globalcoin
cd globalcoin/src sudo mkdir obj sudo make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=-
sudo cp globalcoind /usr/bin

I need to finish learning Linux. I had Ubuntu set up and was making some progress but a friend wanted to trade it for some small miners and I had to put Windows on it and give to him. I have another box and a small HD that would be good for it but I just can not get into doing it until someone brings it up. All that that you just posted makes my head hurt though lol.
