Having the same problem.

people had messaged me and asked me to update the code and put out a new version. so i did. but as soon as i did it seems that the same person disappeared. my new version wasnt compatible with older versions because of a few changes. i assumed that after i made the updates, they would go around and tell services to update. it would seem that they did not. so i guess rolling back to the version on the OP and resyncing would be the best way to get back on the same chain with the BE and exchanges

We can always switch it back to CryptoParts when he comes back if necessary.
Why not to start new thread with CryptoUnited depository (wallet 1.5.5) as canonical one? CryptoParts seems to be inactive for months

Great news...any progress on getting a Linux executable working or updating the code to be able to compile? I haven't been able to run the new version on Linux yet..  Undecided

Then there's this issue reported on cryptoparts github repository:

"You just merged code (1.5.5) that had a date based lock in and exclusion, this fork date was over a month ago.. there's now two chains because of this. Exchange and explorer have been on the 1.5.3 chain and remain on it, anyone that compiles the latest source will be on the 1.5.5 chain which is defunct. You need to re-adapt the code with a new date for activation, update with checkpoints from the 1.5.3 chain and then have exchanges and explorer update before the new lock in..."

@Griffith is this correct?

yeah. it took them 2-3 months to accept the git commit. by that point it was a little too late

I'm waiting for the wallet update too, and I opened a support ticket on Yobit.
Let's hear them our voice!

Just after GLC disappears from my list of balances at Cryptopia  Roll Eyes

I had 30k there but with the unstable chain it seemed pointless to try to withdraw it.

Well, it looks like the recent code changes are not being accepted by the miners or exchanges so they are not valid?

How do we get out of this situation? Submit new code changes and then try to get them accepted by the miners and exchanges? It doesn't help that the current code does not compile. Sad

PM me your system info (OS, RAM, and 32 or 64 bit). it compiles fine. this seems like a problem with your system itself

Created a new VM with the latest Ubuntu Long term server 64-bit and also tried with an older version of Ubuntu server 64-bit...don't have the version numbers handy. Smiley

So if it's working with the latest Ubuntu 64-bit server Long Term support then I will try again.
