Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

FYI, Philosopherstone seems to be pretty stable now. I've been mining consistently on the new client for the past 24 hours without a hitch. The PoS amounts are so significant that savvy investors might hesitate to trade away their PHS...but at the same time it should make it more valuable/enticing to acquire.

As of this post, the network hashrate is at 277 MH/s -- I haven't seen it dip below 200 MH/s since people starting mining on the new client. It's an intriguing coin and currently trading at around 0.0008 BTC (albeit in small quantities -- things don't get serious until they hit Cryptsy!) The community is sharp and dedicated and did a great job stepping in and taking care of business when the dev failed them. I've primarily been on the outside looking in...but I think PHS is a definite game changer. Maybe give it another day to ensure the fork issues are officially ironed out but this one is slated to blow up (in a good way.)

You openly admit you're in this game to turn a profit and I respect your honesty -- what's wrong with profit? That being said, if you're serious about profit, all of the other coins on your current list are truly a joke compared to what adding PHS would bring in. I'm not in any rush, personally...but just filling you in.

Hey BitJohn -- Have you given any thought to iOS / Android apps, or at least a mobile-friendly site?

Good idea. I find often the chat and support tabs pop out and make trading a pain in the ass.

If you like my post please feel free to give me some positive rep https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=18639

I've made a suggestion for including MemoryCoin on your LiteBonk forum -
http://forum.litebonk.com/index.php?topic=691.msg4117#msg4117

The forum to be running very slowly at the moment, was difficult to view pages and post.

I don't think an app version is out of the realm of possibilities.

Though currently this is on the agenda in the next few weeks: (mind you not a deadline as well no one meets them so why make them)
  • We have a nearly completed site makeover coming that will include many new features I have seen the pics its quite the difference more Web 2.0
  • Triggers that can send emails, SMS, or place buys orders
  • Chat box upgrade featuring emoticons/PM's/context menus
  • Escrow Service provide safe secure escrow for a small fee
  • Merchant Tools add our merchant tools your your site and set the desired BTC price and have the ALTcoin prices adjust for you automatically. Essentially we will assist you as a payment provider for any coins you wish to accept

I would really love to see Cloudcoin [CDC] included on the site.  Do you think we will see CDC available on Cryptsy in the near future?

You know what I'd like to see added to Cryptsy?

Nothing.

Y'all are doing a great job and I appreciate the service. I'm not even requesting that you not add anything. I'm just saying that I'm perfectly happy with Cryptsy the way it is. Rock on.

Cloudcoin had a fairly sizable premine that held it down in the rankings it is moving its way up slowly and should make it as other fair release coins are removed from the list.

Yes, to a degree usefull and implementing them shouldn't be too hard.
