^sounds good, was actually hoping the boards would be shipped by now, but who isnt?!

is 24hrs really needed to determine the board quality? I would imagine 6hrs to be more than sufficient to get a few thousand accepted shares and see whats going on.

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

Update time!

The good:
I'm back in Finland and testing has begun! I will ship first units tomorrow!

The bad:
Our preliminary tests show that the boards are falling a bit short on hashrate. This might be due to differences between wafers, immature software or SPI issues. Because we are in a hurry to ship, you win: I will ship your ordered hashrate regardless (ie. more hardware free of charge) until we fix this issue and can provide 400GH in one unit. We are thinking of producing a batch with higher core voltage, which will allow the chip to run faster, but this needs to be tested as well.

The ugly:
Tomorrow I will be figuring out best way to pack these and continue tests, software development and debugging. Softare is still heavily under development, and is not very user friendly. We push hard to make it more user friendly this week.

Our first orders were from Finland and I know many of these customers from IRC, so I asked if it was ok to ship with unfinished software, and they agreed. So stay tuned for first user reports Smiley

I apologize for radio silence on communication front. I just don't have the time and energy now for updates every day, and have no time to go through the amount of email I'm getting. I push hard to keep my word and ship before end of month, and it's taking all my time. I'll go back to e-mails and PMs after that.

Thank you for your support!

Thank you for you effort, punin. I appreciate it very much!

As for myself, I don't mind if the firmware is not perfect, or not hashing at best speed possible. As long as there is a way to update it later, I see no problem with that, even if it requires more elaborate toolkit (like JTAG). Keep up to your promises about shipping - the world of ASIC miner producers needs it badly.

Thank you for your hard work and update. I don't see a problem the way you handle this, you guys are already outstanding compared to your competition and keep surprising me Smiley
How short of hasrate are we? And what happens to the starter kits I wonder?

If Punin is OK with it, I will buy them from you for purchase price.

I am selling in stock OneStringMiner boards, based on the Bitfury chips. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.0

Starter kits benefit the most, as we are putting 2 H-cards in until we have achieved sustained noncerate (useful nonces) of over 25GH/s on one card.

218, source appears to be the recipient of the order, I'd consider trustworthy.

Even more exciting!!

But wait, this doesn't mean the current speed of the H-cards is only 12,5 GH/s ?

No, it means I don't have time to desolder chips from them Smiley You'll be surprised what you get.

I am really disappointed I lost my order for a stupid reason, I didn't want to spend any Bitcoin that i've bout for $180+ for 80$ at the time, Punin you stated that you will be accepting SEPA, I ordered and waited for that SEPA almost the hole month, I sent an e-mail to ask and never got a reply, when I was almost sure there will be no SEPA,  I found a guy and made a deal with him, he paid the order just to find out that I have no order and he got refunded.

your company turned out to be the most promising and honest one so far, looking to these prototypes getting now shipped makes me really angry, mostly at my self.
