You could try to use the ip-address of the pool. And let it run a while, these pals need some time to wake up and realize whats happening.  

You can't use http:// in front of the URL for the pool, as one example of what might be wrong that you don't see...  

You should be able to take the pool URL you are using, and get results at the command line via:

ping   your_url_name_here

Those are nothing to worry about, because they're on pins that are all connected together internally.

See the side of the chips where the traces are coming off?  The side without the small capacitors?  Those need to all be unbridged.  As long as those are unbridged, you're in good shape, at least where soldering is concerned

I see them. I'll check again. Is there a sheme where I can say [0:0] is lower left, [0:1] is above lower left and so on?

None of those are on the sides that matter.
[edit] but the chip that is the other way around is something I dont know about.
[edit2] I seem to have plenty of chips the other way around too and I only have one underperforming one in 32.

you should swap 0 and 4. And check for tight and even seating of the h-boards.

In danis picture, I see one chip turned over by 180 degrees.

Note where the White pin-1 indicator dot and the U number label is for those middle chips....

Out of the box I get the best results at B1+C1, about 43 GH/s. On A1+B1 a lot of chips are just off (on h-board in B1 only).
Will try some tuning tomorrow.

Regarding picture with "chip installed wrong way". The chips follow M-shaped path. You can determine the chip number in the U4x -text next to the chip. U40…U4F

You plug in two 6-pin pci-e connectors to the M-board.

I keep trying to shutdown my rPi and it seems to follow that process but soon it always ends in the login screen again and as a side note, without shutting down. Probably it's not caused by it but in  the shutdown sequence I happen to see something like 'miner' not found or something like that.

Any reason for these issues? I use 'shutdown now.'
