I'm not sure you will get a reply on here from LabRat, his last post on this forum was in December.  You may be better off emailing him off the website.

He has still been fairly consistent on the payouts.  I think the only one on Sunday recently was the 8th of March (and I guess the 15th of February).  So we know he's still alive.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Short of paying for a pacer account I don't know if there are any updates on the lawsuit.  Didn't see any news on it online anywhere.
grnbrg, you still around?  Have you heard anything on the lawsuit or even from Zach?

Due to the lack of any sort of action on this message board does that mean that anyone who had any serious amount of money in this has been paid out and signed a non disclosure agreement or currently part of a legal battle?    Just seems to have been wayyy to quiet...

Personally I sunk a few bitcoins (Few hundred at exchange rate when I jumped onboard at the start)...  Isn't going to change my life losing or getting them back... But is there anyone still here who knows anything who can comment?  Or has lost significantly more and not doing anything about it?

I lost a decent amount and have not been paid off, wish I had... What is there to do?

The only payments that anyone has received are the weekly payments.

Zach executed a long con. He wanted shareholders to pay for hardware, and under the guise of "law" he basically diluted the crap out of every shareholder other than himself.

I can say that in the beginning that wasn't Zachs goal.  Before he started this and was looking into it he legitimately thought he could make a business out of it.  Unfortunately from the get go he was relying on BFL for hardware (many of us were making that mistake at the time).
I can not say how his motivations changed after it got up and running as we did not keep in communication.

Despite all of this unfolding, I'd say that Zach should say his piece about what is going on up in here. It might be unnerving but necessary to his holders.

I'll poke Zach again, but I doubt much will come of it.  He has been very reticent for some time.

My personal speculation:  Either the lawsuit is still ongoing, and he can't comment.  Or the lawsuit has been resolved, and included a gag order meaning he can't comment.  And he may have found (as many others have) that posting nothing is produces less rage posts than posting bad news or no comment posts.

As far as

Bullshit.  Hindsight is 20/20.  We all expected things to go differently, but then the price crashed, and mining became far more competitive far faster than anyone anticipated.  Sure, Zach might have made better decisions in some cases, but that's easy to see now.  It was less clear at the time.

My rule for investing in Bitcoin has always been "Never more than you can afford to lose entirely.".  That applied to LRM as well.  Zach seemed to have an excellent idea and plan, so I gave him a couple of thousand dollars worth of newly purchased Bitcoin.  And I haven't seen any evidence that he behaved irresponsibly with it, and I've been closer to him than most.

At least I've got the balls to admit that it was my choice to give him coins, and that anything I've lost is on me.

Was wondering the same thing. I don't get a big payout every week, but I always check Saturday.

I waited a few days before bringing it up. Any chance we are getting a payout this week? Or has this whole thing falling apart already?

Well other than the suspension of contract purchases nothing on the site has changed in a long time (and I'm not quite sure when that change happened).
Zach it would be a good time to say something about why payments aren't happening anymore.  As up till now you've had the "contract terms" that have supposedly been met.  Nothing about being quiet about that will help your case.  Regardless of lawsuit silence not paying your share/contract holders requires communication.

grnbrg, you are the only one that has had any contact with him lately.  You should recommend this as well.  Thank you

I asked him what's up on Monday.  And yesterday.  He said he'd post something this week.

Sorry, but I don't have anything else to pass on.  Sad

So we are getting scammed are we not?
Sure looks like it to me and looks like you may be in on it too.
