you guys that are jumping into buying these and other large hash machines should punch some numbers in one of the online calculators. Before the end of the summer the difficulty will be at at least 100 million and over 200 million before years end. The get rich scheme will not happen, on the contrary, some of you will never recover the invested money
Thanks bro. That had not occurred to me. A calculator you say, huh?

I paid for the Expedited Shipping of my 5 x August 25gh/s Kits.
The total cost in BTC was 1.7871BTC. A little over $220.00 at the time of invoice.
I'm guessing the BTC is at a fixed number.

5. I googled "hot fedex girl" and I'm sorry to say, they must not exist.
That's ok. I'm fine with UPS.

That's ok. I'm fine with UPS. I don't think those are the correct chips she is holding. Could be worth a trade though, lol.

That UPS gal was DEFINITELY cuter than my FEDEX gal.
I about shot coffee out of my nose when I saw that post!
Thanks Detritus, that shot of adrenalin was just what I needed this morning.
(But now I gotta' go change t-shirts...)
Thanks for the feedback Dave! I've got 2 Aug orders that I'd like to combine (I'll email Yvonne with the order numbers). I'd really like to use the expedited delivery service. Were you serious about us sending you our own account's express shipping labels? If so, how are we to initiate that process? If we DO send you our own labels, do we need to pay the $199?
Whatever the case, I applaud you for not going down the HIGH SHIPPING COST avenue. It speaks volumes about Bitfury's corporate integrity.
(Now if I can just get you to put Oct chip reels back up for $60K...)
Thanks again,
Rusty

Yeah, I haven't been keeping up. Is everything still shipping on time?
Also, I placed an order for a starter and then a couple weeks later for a ton of H-boards, any way I can get them all shipped together without the extra delay?

This is great for customers buying miners, but it's still not clear how many THs are being shipped before getting to 100/200TH and an estimated date for them to be fully deployed. Many unanswered questions on top of major delays. . . -send a team member to China to in-person test this rig
Good news everyone! And greetings from Shanghai! Just got batch of 20 boards from the factory and tested them. They work perfectly! We're still on schedule! Some pics: Maglev from Pudong airport and H-board gets vertigo. Lets compile the unanswered questions here and I'll try to answer them. Here's what I plan on doing: -Receive product, immediately set it up and run 24hr testing into 100TH mine -Pull off tested product for retail product shipping -Replenish racks with more newly received gear to test. -Repeat this process until August orders are out the door (I estimate 3-4 days of this process) -At this point, the 100TH hashpower should stop fluctuating and start growing as more product arrives. There are more boards on the way, so we don't expect a break after we finish deploying the first batch of boards. The timeframe I'm most fuzzy about is how long to deploy the extra hashpower from 100TH -> 200TH. I would estimate weeks, not months. I saw the above in another thread.

H-boards for August delivery? I missed that one. I only saw October delivery on mbp website. Thats right. There were no additional H-Boards for Aug delivery. He might be talking about OCT Del.

If you just enjoy watching number whizz past on your miner UI, maybe this makes sense for you - but a higher price of Bitcoin in the future is not a justification. Instead of spending BTC80 on a piece of mining hardware that will ultimately produce BTC70 before difficulty renders it useless, you could just as well save the BTC80 to start with, and be + BTC10 in the end.

Waiting to get the first ship notification from the factory...they should have some boards ready by now... Power adapters for your ATX PSU's are also in production - they should be ready early next week. All you will need to hook up your rigs is a standard ATX PSU - (boards will take about 330w running full steam). Raspberry Pi w/formatted SD card will be provided, including the latest mining code. Make sure and have at least a house fan or something to move the air through the cards - it doesn't have to be a pro solution. Oh, and an internet connection
