Even the price is Zero is low as most of the other alt coin. I'm still mining for the last year. I believe about this project and it will go up again like it did previously.

Looks like it is still only Optiminer, linked in first post.
Had issues with stability on that miner which made me move on to another project, but maybe there have been stability fixes in newer releases

I am using Nvidia gtx 1080 ti cards. Only two at the moment though, so not a big rig.
Been mining for a year and Zero is the only coin i could not get to run stable.

sure it would be better without a takeover, but many projects did something like a takeover or rebranding. just think about DASH/darkcoin

All these projects (like Zero) that derive from zcash share the same base.
This means simply enough that if Zcash is secure and keys have been truly burned then the same have occured to all forks after it.

So if Zcash is secure, Zero is secure

Effective immediately I’m calling on Demarsac and the entire dev team to turn in their resignations. The price has cratered and some whales are unloading — I wouldn’t be surprised to see price hit 10 cents or less. This is a community coin and I ask the dev team to do the honorable thing and hand it back to a competent group. All hope is not lost but until there is a leadership change, this is looking like a dead project and may eventually be worth about as much as the name implies.

Yes and the reason is obvious. Q1 goals have not been met and the Team failed to bring Zero to a big exchange. They are just posting weak excuses why it has not happened.
What is the new time line for a big exchange? "When the bear market is over" is truly ridiculous. A coin should be developed completely independent from wheter it is a bear or bull market. As an investor, I want to have more clear communication with comcrete information, not some blabla about bear market. I still believe in the project but if there are delays in the timeline, give us the info and provide new dates, dont talk BS.
Same goes with the other goals, "it is too expensive" is no promising statement.

I am not asking the devs too leave as I believe in their work. But PLEASE hire someone with better public relations and marketing skills. Otherwise this project will fail, even with the best technology. We need better communication to investors and a way to make the brand more famous.

We should understand that kind of this projects are useless if there is no proper wallet. I understand their excuses, it is understandable. The current state of the market is not good for any project especially privacy coins. As they promissed, if we can have a good community miner and wallet, we can't loose.
