With the new blocks just sad. I'm already thinking about switching to something else. Three four hours on the block. A miserable reward. Also, the crazy coefficient on the official pool.

Given how new this coin is versus what it's trading for at this point in it's life/the network hashrate I would say that there is some pretty serious interest in this coin.

Sumo wasnt very profitable for a while either but people who invested in the technology and developers early were well rewarded.

This coin has a wild sustained hashrate for where it is and that's probably a very good thing.

Net hash ~4Mh, but all pools summary have ~1mh rate. Nicehash kill mining for this coin. Can you block nicehash ports or by any means ban nicehash?

To be part of DERO NETWORK and start mining DERO:
Download daemon & wallet from below links, choose your OS.

Extract and change into that directory by cmd-prompt.
Run derod.exe or derod depending on operating system. It will start syncing.
Open another command-prompt and run dero-wallet-cli.exe/dero-wallet-cli and follow options to create wallet.
Make sure to backup your wallet-file/password/seed/key etc…

SOLO MINING:
Run “start_mining X” cmd in wallet X-> NO. of cores in your CPU

transfer normal 2 <dero address> <amount> <optional payment id>

normal = transaction priority; can also be unimportant, elevated or priority
2 = ring size; affects traceability (I have no idea what is good here, and I don't think it matters if you are sending to an exchange)
<dero address> = self-explanatory
<amount> = also self-explanatory
<payment id> = if sending to an exchange you will need to put what they tell you to here, otherwise it can be left blank; you will be warned about it, but it's ok.

Edited: All payments are being cleared by old host,Old minimum payment set to 0.004 DERO .
Also old pool host will run for another month and will be redirecting traffic to new host.
Even if you rig is connected to old host no issues till  next 25th FEb 2018. You will get payed by new pool.
By the time you read this msg you would already be on new pool.
Downtime of just less than 3 seconds.

The pool will close at 23:00 UTC on Tuesday, 23rd January 2018. At that time the mining ports will be closed down. Once any pending blocks have matured, all pending amounts will be sent (regardless of size) and the pool will be shut down.

Suggest switching to the main pool at http://pool.dero.live for regular payments and to counteract the influx of NH.
