Official pool updated to support static diff , workers, charts etc.  Lets see how all goes.
http://pool.dero.live

Miners need not do anything. No downtime for anyone. Smiley

Please remove your miners from dero.nitropools.com

The pool will close at 23:00 UTC on Tuesday, 23rd January 2018. At that time the mining ports will be closed down. Once any pending blocks have matured, all pending amounts will be sent (regardless of size) and the pool will be shut down.

Suggest switching to the main pool at http://pool.dero.live for regular payments and to counteract the influx of NH.

You are from the very first with DERO. You were always and you will be always more than supporter and miner to us.
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Thanks for your work. It helped make the official pool better.

Old pool host will run for another month. see http://http://212.8.242.60/
Several unattended mining rigs are still connected to this host.

Minimum payment will be setup 0.0001 DERO and all gets payed.
New db was incompatible so started fresh.

Pro tip: you probably should've mentioned that no balances were lost in the transition to a new pool...  Tongue

Fixed difficulty isn't working; it's doing vardiff still. The format I am using is the same as with dero.nitropools.com because there is no guidance in the support tab about this:

<wallet address>+<workername>.<difficulty>

try <wallet address>.<difficulty>+<workername>

That appears to be working so now I have 2 CPUs pointed at the official pool, hashing at a little better rate than a single RX 570 (~760).

This might be a redundant question but does that mean our balanced will "carry forward to the new pool host despite it not reflecting in the interface or will the pending payments from the old pool host be released at a specific date in the future?

OLD pool is running on http://212.8.242.60  will be paying as usual with low minimum threshold. Trying to clear all payments upto ~0.01( till transfer fees limit reaches).
You can check your payments etc. in old pool. Perhaps in another 24 hrs will clear all payments automatically.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm not able to access the old pool hence not able to check. Will just wait to see if mining rewards get paid tomorrow.

Anyone else seeing occasional socket errors/disconnects on the official pool (pool.dero.live), or is it just me? Xmr-stak reconnects and keeps mining, but it's happened several times today so far and this hasn't been an issue for a couple weeks now.

The pool is alive and accepting hashes. The mobile site works but the desktop version needs a small fix.

The pool is also disconnecting people but it is not banning anyone. Given how response CaptDero is I'm sure both issues will be resolved soon!

that was with the nitro pool. When the 3333 port was connected to a powerful rig and a small static diff

That was a separate incident involving one joker, according to Speedie (the pool operator); what I was referring to are the connectivity issues that seemed to always strike in the middle of the night when I first started mining a couple weeks ago. There was also a rash of blockchain out of sync issues at that time, so it was impossible to tell for sure what the real problem was.

At any rate, it sounds like I am not alone in having connectivity issues today, but as I said before these aren't fatal/unrecoverable disconnects so I'm not too concerned.
