As the price of bitcoin is now 8642$ so if we buy bitcoin as we know that up and down come in market but bitcoin regain its value which mean that it will go again to 9800$ so if we bought the bitcoin on low prices and after that the prices again high giving us more profit more than 1150$.

There are many altcoins nowadays, or ICO that is just started. My advice for your $5,000 is much better if you diversify it, like 30% of that is try to participate in ICO and some are buy some undervalued altcoins with amazing technology or project. It will help you to get your profits in long term position.

i am not an advisor on investor but i can recommend you to invest on Ethereum.
between bitcoin, ethereum and ico, investing on ethereum is the most safe option i think.
ethereum is more used by peoples to participate on ICO, so the ethereum demands on the future will high.

I still believe that the best strategy is to buy popular crypto once the price decreasing because im pretty sure that in few weeks it will recover back it market value and with chances to increase and double your investment.

For me I think the best strategy if your invested in crypto is to be patiently waiting when the invested crypto is fluctuating don not get into panic selling because if you do not your lossing a lot including your capital.

My advice before you invest to Bitcoin, you have to know what bitcoin is, how does it work for bitcoin investments and what are the disadvantages and benefits. Do not forget to look at background, team and so on if you want to invest in ICO, For now, my advice is do not put all your money to invest in one project. put it in some projects, So if one day one project does not succeed there is hope other diproyek. And my advice is my most priority in buying and selling bitcoin, see the current price developments and if buy current and hold for several months ahead that price will go up, then do it.

I do believe that investing and trading is different.
If you're not into chart reading and speculating to multiply your bags, then you should stick to BTC/ETH.
I'm not saying the other alts are not worthy of investing, but I strongly suggest everyone to do they own research and have enough knowledges about any cryptocurrency they plan to buy and hold for a long time. You should analysis before investment.

You can invest Bitcoin/ETH/altcoin (XLM,XRP, ADA, NEO).
Invest 3 types -

1. Short-term;
2. Mid-term;
3. Long-term.

Short term risky. Mid term investment low profitable and Long term is more profitable.

ICO invest also profitable if the ICO is success. SO think and researh before big investment.

For me, the investment strategies vary depending on the type of coin invested because each coin have different price some are cheaper and some are expensive so for cheaper coins i prefer for lonng term holding while the expensive coin i prefer for day trading.
