Greetings! I am planning to invest $5,000 in cryptocurrency but I do not know how to invest. And where should I invest? - in Bitcoin, in alternate cryptocurrency, or in ICO? I’m asking for an investment strategy for professional traders or investors out there.

Five thousand dollars is not enough in my opinion. I think you should try the less expensive coins first and save up before you try investing in bitcoin since the price of it right now in this moment is 8322.47 USD. Keep trading first to save more money and you can also try several coins so you can earn more. I hope you will be successful in your plan to invest.

My strategy in invesments is not far from the other and i think this is also a very common in this furom. Usualy i do split my money into 3 to 5 kinds of coins to limit the risk in my investments. Im not saying that of you do my strategy your investments no risk but it can lower the risk unless you are not lucky.
You have a good point, it's diversification. No single strategy that can help you become a good investor. It's trial and error, you may gain some or lose some. Never be reliant on the opinion and techniques of others. The best strategies may or may not be the best on your part, so it's important for you to find your own strategies and stick to what you may find effective.

I'm not a professional, but i may be able to help you a little.
It all depends on you. What kind of investment you want? A long term one? Short investment that can gain you profits immediately? Or what?
If you want long term investment. I suggest you to buy some bitcoin and just hold until the price increase. The market isn't really good nowadays so it might take time. But i'm sure it'll eventually be better, and the price will increase.
If you just want short term investment. Find a great ICO and buy the coins. After that sell those and gain profits from that. Or you can buy altcoins and trade them, it kinda gives you quite a lot as well.

This seems to be a very good and profitable division, but the most important thing for profit, but for now I will focus and divide altcoin larger than bitcoin, maybe 10% bitcoin portion.

the basis for consideration is market cap, volatility, and also price. after that buy, then hold. do not panic with the price quota, that's the best strategy. it would be better if it's a long-term investment.

Greetings! I am planning to invest $5,000 in cryptocurrency but I do not know how to invest. And where should I invest? - in Bitcoin, in alternate cryptocurrency, or in ICO? I’m asking for an investment strategy for professional traders or investors out there.

Split your money to a few cryptos is the best suggestion I can give.
Never put all of your money in the same bucket.
And I think better put it at altcoin then bitcoin itself.
You can gain more profit if you can buy altcoin at dip price like now.
Or you can try invest at ico with good future.but for this one you must do deep research before you join.or you can buy when ico finish at exchange.usually the price will be drop right after hit exchange.
That's the best moment to buy.

You should first research about it. Get a lot of knowledge about it so you know how to move your money. For now, my advice to you is not to put all the eggs in one nest. In other words, put your hard-earned money into a different investment so that if someone falls, you have other investas You need to start investing by investing a low amount and with the time you need to increase the investment in order to get big profits.

you must learn first before investing so you do not lose. I think for beginners better invest in bitcoin, it's safer.
to invest in ICO is too risky if you do not understand it

I follow only basic rules of investments, first is to buy whenever the price is low and sell when it is high, this makes a good actually better profit gains for you. Second is diversify your investments, make sure that you don't put all your eggs in one baskets as the old saying states. Third is consistency, it doesn't matter how much the amount you put in when you started, what matters is that you are consistent in add into it, in some scenarios, earning and saving your coins. And last but not the least, is PATIENCE, in any investment it will need not just money but time, effort and patience. There will be situations that will not go the way you want it to or you expected it to be but you have to stay strong and calm so you can think clearly on what should be the best course of actions, decisions should not be based on feelings, emotions or just FUDs.

You already bought bitcoin with $5000? if it is, hold the half bitcoin you have. and use half bitcoin for trading. better trading in bitfinex or binance market, because I've been trading in both markets. and I think the market is good for beginners. because the UI on the market is very helpful and easy to understand.

The strategy is buy any cryptocurrency with a good concept and product,as there is an increase in price you can do well to sell half of your investment, and wait for when there is a big dip than buy back as the price increase sell ,it is a market strategy

Greetings! I am planning to invest $5,000 in cryptocurrency but I do not know how to invest. And where should I invest? - in Bitcoin, in alternate cryptocurrency, or in ICO? I’m asking for an investment strategy for professional traders or investors out there.
There are five tips you can do before investing:

1. Limit the amount of investment
For starters, you should measure the amount of investment bitcoin. The bitcoin price is expensive and its value is easy to change from time to time. Fyi, bitcoin movement per day can reach millions of rupiah, you know! This system is also very similar to the purchase and sale of shares. Can fall and can rise in accordance with the development that occurred. Therefore, if you are just investing bitcoin, the amount varies.

2. Update with price developments
Due to its fluctuating nature, bitcoin investors should always produce bitcoin prices on a regular basis. In the digital age, you can do it easily. Take advantage of various apps and features such as bitcoin checkers or bitcoin ticket widget. Two things have a warning system that will let you know when the bitcoin movement has reached the value you want. After that, you just decide whether to sell or buy.

3. Set the buying limit for bitcoin
When investing, you set a nominal limit and buy bitcoins. If you invest through bitcoin.co.id, you can do this. To perform this process, you can find the bitcoin price with the value you have set. The process is automated easily. These tips can be tried by you who are busy with the job or will not always be able to see bitcoin in real time.

4. Take advantage of cloud mining
As a total loss effort, you can use the cloud mining feature. With this feature, you can mine bitcoin online with GHS units. On the other hand, you are also accessible from bitcoin you have. Output you can sell again.

5. call temptation to hoard
While still smart in bitcoin investments, consider avoiding capital accumulation. Even though the money you want is overwhelming, investing too many facts can be dangerous. Because, bitcoin has a contribution and a definite value. In addition, bitcoin deposits also have the potential to be hacked by irresponsible parties. As a beginning of learning, do trade in a short time. You can still make a profit, really.

Those are some ways you can imitate your bitcoin investment running smoothly. Bottom line, as a beginner can not grasak-grusuk, yes. Everything must be done with the principle of prudence and patience. Do not take hasty steps. Just enjoy the process. Later already in bitcoin investment, new, deh, you can play with big capital.

Thank you hopefully these tips useful.

For a start, I advise you to invest at least part of the money in bitcoin for long-term storage, and in parallel to look at investments in altcoins.

Don't invest all the money you have so you won't be wailing after you lose. It is very risky because it is an investment so invest the money you can afford lose and also if you are confuse on where to invest divide the money you have into 3 then invest in all your choices so you don't have to regret after.
