Litecoin to be over $5000 in 2018?

I think that people are downloading coinbase, seeing how high BTC is, and deciding to invest into LTC and ETH instead. I think that's a huge expectation to a coin that hasn't even reach a $100 value maybe it could reach a $1000 value but $5000 ? I think it is high enough this year. Litecoin really need some support from every investors to reach that amount.

As of now the value of litecoin is almost $60 and in my opinion litecoin really needs a huge boost to reach a $5000 value this year but there's  always a possibilty in cryptocurrency industry so why not,  maybe after a couple of years or so. 

For other altcoins, I think it can be increased. But for Litecoin the answer is no, its price will never rise to 500$ again and 5000$ for 1 litecoin is impossible. There are many other altcoins that are better in every way and it makes litecoin gradually forgotten and die slowly

It is indeed expected last year but unfortunately, the market this year have gone unexpected. Continuous downtrend is observable this year which limits the increase and brought continuous decrease in the price of cryptos. But since there are still months remaining, we may still hope for positive changes this year so for now, holding would be the best thing to do.

If the increase last year have continued, probably it would be but since it is not and continuous downtrend dominated this year, it seems to be not possible and might only happen if there'll be again bullrun next year. For now, hold and wait for the market to recover and for the tables to be turned. Green market is observable at this moment which can be a hope for this year.

this is too ambitious because the price of ltc currently does not reach 100 $ and if it reaches 5k usd it is certainly not an easy thing to have a lot of developments in the market. and in fact the current market movements are not large

I like Litecoin but it is a very bold assumption about its price especially for this year. In the future, Yes, I agree that it's real but not at the moment, most likely this goal faster take Ethereum. I think so !

It will not happen, this is a speculation thread without any fundamental evidence to be used to determine TA of litecoin. OP was creating a joke to believe if litecoin will worth $5k just because it has been getting a short term pump. i can't believe it and litecoin will always below the bitcoin. Litecoin prices can reach $ 5000 but can't now and we don't know when that will happen, I think it definitely needs a process for that to run optimally. because litecoin is a potential coin.

I am sure with my answer, "NO". There is no way LTC can increase that huge price. Unless our bitcoin increases to $ 40k per coin. There are a number of factors that affect the economy. Crypto is moving and it needs time to stabilize.
