yes, this is what every country is concerned about when legalizing bitcoin, and it will add new tasks to the government, I think that if this bitcoin is legalized it will be much more criminal. such as money laundering, and financing of terrorism.
but it can be prevented by government preventive measures.
So is cash. The money in different Governments allow people to purchase things with their currencies. |

well, I think some criminal can use it.
but they have to take into attention that all the moves, transfers and etc - are stored in blockchain forever
not sure this the thing they want)
but I'm sure they can use TOR based coins,like ZEC or DeepOnion

Bitcoin is not illegal. Some country not accept the bitcoin. But bitcoin is helpful to for the countey and country people growth. So county people can't accpet the bitcoin. Some country scam the peple money. If bitcoin accept the county can't scam the money. Not a completely valid argument.I mean come on even paper currency is used in illegal activities like buying drugs,ammunition etc. So linking bitcoins with illegal activity is not entirely correct

Informations about using btc in illegal activities has had a significant effect on the growth of btc as well as on the crypto system. But managing it is really hard, because the btc feature is anonymity. Some countries have btc bans because of that. |

You said it yourself, Bitcoin is a currency and can be used also just like a normal money so using it to buy drugs, pay killers, support terrorists, and other evil acts, this will not ruin Bitcoin. Back then when Bitcoin is not yet in existence, these criminals uses fiat and did that make fiat evil? Of course not. ..and bitcoins must not be used in these illegal activity which can reduce its usage and value.
Sorry to say but you cannot force anyone how to use Bitcoin. And the end result of using Bitcoin illegally was the other way around. It was the main reason why Bitcoin became popular in the first place. |

Bitcoins has been used to buy drugs and even weapons for a very long time, i think it was on the primary uses of bitcoins when it first started because of it's anonymity. Its really nothing new at all. But i doubt more people are doing it now since they have come to realize its about to increase in value. |

It's fact. Bitcoin using as main payment in darkweb for illegal transaction including drugs trading, weapon dealing, etc. We haven't control about this condition, since early in the presence of bitcoin, this has been rampant in use as payment of illegal transactions including money laundry. |

yes the government still has not found the right preventive measures to overcome it.
They will never find it. Governments just want to defame Bitcoin by stating that it is being used for criminal purposes, while they are well aware of the fact that their fiat currencies are more than anything being used for that. Even in the case of fiat being used by criminals the most, we can't blame fiat for that. Fiat and Bitcoin are nothing more than tools that people can use or abuse in their preferred way. I personally don't care about how people use Bitcoin. If they want to buy drugs, so be it. If they want to buy weapons, again so be it. Everyone here should mind its own business, and not focus on how others use Bitcoin. Its totally bad and sad when people are using bitcoin for bad activities I think if someone start hard work here so can earn a lot of money which he can’t get in bad things so they are not joining bitcoin instead of bad things and bad things have always bad result so use bitcoin for good things and change your life because a bad work return soon with bad result and bitcoin is here to help us not to push us for bad things. |

Bitcoin has and still is used for illegal activities such as drugs, buy/selling weapons, hiring assassins, and so on. It is not something new. The dark net holds 80% of the internet. Everything in there is used by bitcoin. You cannot use a real life currency to buy or sell something.
But we should not blame bitcoin for doing these illegal activities. We should blame people because believe me, there are both bad and good people all over the world. We do not blame the currency, we blame the one who uses it.

BitCoin is used for illegal work in many countries. Bitcoin is used not only in the country but also in the international arena. I think that terrorist groups are also earning by way of bitcoin. One of the biggest reasons why the bitcoin market is in this condition is illegal work. |

Not only in India, I believe that Bitcoin is being used to commit guilty like drug trafficking, money laundering, tax evasion,...all over the world because of the security of Bitcoin ). It's really hard to find out the owner of Bitcoin transaction cause they're almost anonymous and the government only can find them out via their IP address so crime often taking avantage of Bitcoin to commit guilty. Almost government all over the world also afraid that when they legalized Bitcoin in their country, it'll be taking advantage like that so for now there are no country legalize Bitcoin yet  |

Illegal activities are done with the intent of people involved. It is not bitcoins fault if used in crime transactions and not our concern. With what you say illegal activities will reduce its usage and value, well i dont think it could affect that much since bitcoin circulate through the demands of people to buy it and it has no material matters to be disregarded. It is the governments problem how to reduce illegal activities using bitcoin, it is whether ther take part on crontrolling or having access on most bitcoin transactions or have a centralized blockchain to trace those who are suspicious about their transactions. |

By being an Indian Bitcoin can be used in several Illegal activities, but our news, or news papers just they publish this type of activity, but how about Govt who use for illegal activity. 1. They may use money to circulate during elections for their scam votes. 2. They may exchange or buy from foreign countries without taxation. 3. Terrorists can get easily money without knowing to anyone There are several reasons that people and Indian Govt can use for illegal activies if Bitcoin is regularized. I think Bitcoin will get banned in India on one day. |

As long as money is involved there will be criminality. Also, due to banning of cryptocurreny exchanges in some countries there is no doubt that many will be against it leading to more criminal liabilities. More or less those who need to have a decent income will get involve because it's already considered as illegal in their country.
